Again no offense or disrespect intended but the majority of SS.com members who support the name have done so for several years now via letters, emails, donations to the lawsuit, etc. Those in charge know how we feel. Sending a petition is not going to change the direction this train is speeding toward. I'm one of the biggest supporters of the Fighting Sioux name and logo and it pains me to say it but the name and logo will soon be a thing of the past.

Beautiful weather in southern Minnesota! Went shopping, bought a couple of pink boas, some green, white and black feathers for my hat which is going bald, a big green (now) straw purse, and I told everyone I chanced to speak to that I'm going to Denver to see the Fighting Sioux win their 8th National Championship. Lots of sad faces around here, mine NOT included!!

And that's one of the reasons we're Sioux Fans!!!

As I said looong ago, I don't think Chorney or Kozek are leaving early. I'm on the fence about Dunc though. Great to have him for four but he's gotta do what's best for him. Would love to see Joe another year as well but I bet the Caps can't wait to get their gloves on him. I don't know if I'd believe Joe if he said he was staying another year. That guy is a big time jokester!! As for TJ, didn't I just hear he's staying. He's gonna graduate then go to grad school at the U. He'll still be able to play Sioux hockey...... in the intramurals.
