Oshie just had a wide open look but he missed the net. The announcers are saying very nice things about him. He is having a heck of a game so far.

It seems like Bismarck High has started to get things together. They started out with that huge loss to South so I figured they would just suck this whole year, but they started getting better results. They even went to Fargo a few weeks ago and lost 3-1, and from what i hear, it was 1-1 after the 2nd period. They also played minot in a close game, as I went to that game, and it was much more even then the shots would indicate. They just beat Bismarck Century 4-0, but I don't know what to think of that score since I don't really know how Century is this year. But I think Bismarck High could be a team that starts doing better. And to add onto that, I also think a team out east that could get some better results would be Fargo North like somebody else said. It seems like, looking at their roster, that they have the talent to win some games, or at least, score some goals. It should be a good season after the Holiday Breaks.

Why is Bobby Ryan the extra forward? He is probably one of their top 2 forwards, so I don't know about this?

Toews is centering first round pick Benoit Pouliot along with second round pick Mike Blunden. He is on a very high firepower line, so we should see some points out of him.

In the west's defense, I think Minot would have to be considered the top team since they beat devils lake this week. Bismarck High only lost to the East's top team 3-1(yes, i know the shots were absolutely rediculous, but if you can count on a goalie to keep you in every game like that, you have a chance to win any game you play).

No kidding. I guess the civil war was fought just for something to do because blacks were happy and so were whites so it just got boring. Blacks loved being starved to death and beaten to death every time they did something wrong. It just wasn't a big deal back then. Slavery and the Logo Issue are the exact same thing. Until about 2 years ago, nobody even brought any of them up, and slavery and "abusive" logos were just around while nobody cared. Bismarck High beat Century 4-0 tonight. Bismarck pretty much physically dominated a much smaller Century team. Mike Hillman of BHS played very well(from what I hear he has been playing extremely well for the Demons) for the shutout. Some players who stood out for BHS were #25(I can't recall his name right now) had 2 goals, and Ross Monson had 2 assists I believe. I'm not sure what to think, if the Demons are starting to come around or if they are just playing weaker opponents.

They played Bismarck High's JV team though to a 4-3 game. From what I hear only one or two varsity players played that game, so I guess you can take that score for what it's worth. Also off topic, but to NDPride if you get to the BHS south game could you give a good game summary and if anybody from BHS looks good other then the 3 you mentioned. I have only seen them play once this year so I couldn't really tell at all who were their main players. I was just curious so I know who to watch for when BHS plays Century on Thursday.

On that note, BHS travels to Fargo South to play them for the second time this year. And then on Thursday it is probably the best rivalry game in the west(i assume) as BHS takes on Century. If anybody goes to either of those games, could they talk about any players from either team. I assume with South there will be lots of players to talk about. But I guess I'd be interested in hearing about the West once in a while too.

No. Usually the Olympics consist of AHL/NHL'ers. They don't normally have college kids on olympic teams like they used to. For example I'm sure that Mike Modano will be on the US team and Paul Kariya will be on the Canadian team. I wouldn't worry about anybody from UND being on any Olympic Teams.

Devils Lake beat mandan 6-3 and Bismarck High beat St. Paul 4-2 in west region hockey(if anyone cares )

Ok this just made me laugh when I read this. Crosby wasn't a standout at shattuck, yes thats why he is a once in a generation talent. And all you have been referring to is stats as to why crosby is not a top rookie. Look at what he does for his team. He is regularly the best forward on the ice no matter who they are playing. So how you can say he wasn't a standout at shattuck 3 years ago just blows me away.

My God if he's being considered to play with Kessel and Schremp that is an absolutely unbelievable achievement. That goes to show anybody that hard work can pay off bigtime. TJ I'll be rooting for you!
