you must be a newb on this board eading.... you keep contradicting yourself, one time you call him panzer then you call him Mike Rupp. And by no means did I say that panzer and porter are similar players, i was stating that they are very opposite. someone earlier said they are the same type of player PCM can back me up on that. but that is neither here nor there, I was simply saying I have not been over excited about his play and like what the hak said, people seem to be throwing him a bone cause he is the captain when I see it the opposite. If he is wearing the C that is a big responsibility and he should be the one leading this team, not taking untimely penalties.... thoughts??

how can someone compare panzer to Chris Porter. Take a look at their numbers in the years they were both here: Porter 25 15 22 Panzer 37 47 63 81 In one year Panzer will have more points than chris did in his whole career. Chris doesnt get much accomplished on the ice. He may be a better than average skater, but he lacks puck skills. He has a tough time catching a pass and only got 3 assists one year. From my seat all I can see is he skates up the ice doing a hundred crossovers and shoots it wide and circles aroud the ice for the rest of the shift without stopping. I will give him credit he does manage to win the iron man every year, but so did ryan sofie, it doesnt translate over to the ice that well.

Dear Sioux Fans & Red Seal Peach addicts, To all of those who doubt my first two messages I hope you are ready to realize that these will be offical Red Seal Peach shirts. I am close friends with these two and the sale will in fact happen. I read some of the remarks about making your own shirt. Thats cool but how much better would it be to get a real one from the band signed at the merchandise sale. Granite, this band likes to have fun and joke around and they are both hockey players. But that doesn't mean that they don't take it seriously. They enjoy playing and want others to enjoy their music and sense of humor. So don't let those others who doubt the band cloud your perspective. Enjoy the band as it is ment to be enjoyed and wear that shirt around campus with pride. For those who are doubting the band, I strongly recommend you keep watching for the dates of the sale and show up and get yourself a shirt and hang out with the band. You will see that this is not just some joke to get everyone riled up. The band will have a sale and the band awaits its fans with open arms. Best regards to all and I will keep you posted. I just spoke with jordan and Staffy about the new and upcoming merchandise sale they will be holding in Grand Forks. The dates are not yet set but the sale will occur before the school year ends. I will keep you guys posted on all the hot items. So if you guys are fans of red seal peach and you want to show it around campus this might be the only opportunity for fans to get merchandise so don't pass it up. Ill keep you guys informed. there you go again fedorov. get your head out of lammy's a$$ for once.

Surprise surprise Fedorov is attacking Jpars play again. Scoring 1 goal against Alaska is not going to win many games. He gave the team a chance to win the game and from what I saw made some really good saves, but you must have had your blinders on again. Both of the goals were tipped by UND players, but that is Jpars fault according to Fedorov's expertise.

I have been checking up on these boards for the most part of the season and I felt that it was my time to voice an opinon on what we have been witnessing thus far. This team has some potential there is no doubt about that, from the goal line up they are pretty solid. They are just not competing hard enough on a nightly basis and that is what is going to separate them from the rest of the difficult WCHA this season. Lets face it we lost a lot of offense in the offseason and that will be hard to replace but when is a guy like quinn fylling going to score a goal? Has he played this year yet? Rory is doing a great job and it doesn't help that Murray is out for awhile so that is not going to spice up any offense right now. And in my opinion there has been no one that has gone downhill more in his career here than schneider. Offensively and defensively he has been a complete non factor How do you score 40+ points one year and then score 30 less the next year. That shows there is no dedication from him which is why I think he is not captain this year. And as far as goaltending goes we have the best we have had in a few years here. But Federov, I am getting pretty annoyed of all of your posts ripping Jpar. He has given us a chance to win every game this year and that's all you ask of a goalie. How about in Maine? He basically won a game for us. Same with minnesota we were outshot 2 to 1 and managed to beat them. Every goalie in the world is going to have a bad night but from the way you make it sound we have siembida again. Lammy is good I am not questioning that, but as far as you saying parise should not dress the rest of the year is insane. Who was our starter for playoffs last year?? Oh yeah I forgot. But i bet you could to so much better that is why you bash all of them the moment you get a chance. When a goalie plays well I am all for playing him again, but I am convinced Jpar is our go-to-guy for the time being.
