  1. 3-3!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Travis Gawryletz!!!!!!!! The whole PK was still out there and they managed to get it in!
  2. 3-2 now! Miskovich!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Through the 5-hole on a delayed penalty!
  3. 3-1 CC now. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
  4. CC goal, Sterling
  5. Say what?
  6. Go Tech! Yeah! They played really well tonight. The Gophers looked like crap.
  7. 1-1 now, CC scores. Hillen (sp?) with an assist from the goaltender???
  8. ?? What do you mean, corrected him?
  9. Because Evan Schwabe is in the box! What did he do? He's 5'9 and 165. Boarding? Whoa.
  10. YEAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. They were late b/c they couldn't go the 5 miles from the hotel to Mariucci. We're having a bit of snow here.
  12. Oh yeah, and Zaba isn't in the net. It's McElhinney. www.warpradio.com and put in KDAL for the call letters. GOAL 'DOGS!!!!!!!!!!! PP GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SCHWABE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Thanks for the support! I think the 'Dogs can do it, too. Tech is really playing well, I am very impressed. I think the Gophers didn't take them seriously. 'Dogs underway. Good chance crashing the net.
  14. Well, it ain't your grandma's Michigan Tech! It's 3-2 Tech after 2 periods, but at one point it was 3-0 Tech. Desmet from Murphy, then Murphy from I don't know on a 4 on 4 (3 on 1 breakaway) which looked like a Tech PP. Guyer from Atherton, then Kaufmann from Harrington. No phantom assist on that one! No more Gopher updates from me, as I'm listening to the 'Dogs now. Go Tech! Go 'Dogs!
  15. yeah Tech!!! Way to go! 1-0 Tech after 1 (Helminen from Connor and Murphy). I didn't even see the goal, I had looked down to pet my cat. Only 2 PPs (one each) in the period. Did you know that Tech has the 2nd best PP in the WCHA and 5th best in the nation? TECH? Who would have thought? My theory on Tech is, they've got some talent (though Connor really isn't what he should be this year), but they look really disorganized at times. I think with better coaching they would be higher up in the standings. I like Ellsworth, but he gives up too many big fat rebounds, and he comes out of the net too much (reminds me of Jordan P.) Maybe if he could cover the puck after a save they would have more wins? Their defense backs him up pretty well. Oh yeah, bro, I thought the 'Dogs were at home too, but evidently not. That doesn't look good for them, esp. with CC on a tear right now.
  16. Right now I'm downstairs watching the Gopher game until the 'Dogs come on at 8:35. Hope the off week rests your players up for the tough ( ) series against Bemidji. Go Tech!
  17. If you guys think you're pissed about the NHL, check out Hockey Fan Slams Lockout in Own Obit.
  18. 'Dogs win on the 29th, I'm calling it now. They wouldn't DARE lose in my presence once again.
  19. What's the average age of a college hockey player? I mean, a lot of them seem really freaking old. Not all freshmen are really freshmen, they may come from juniors and be as old as me, for crying out loud. Well, maybe not that old.
  20. Except for Saturday night when they won 5-1 against St. Cloud... This is actually me, not my brother pretending to be me.
  21. Unfortunately that has been the case this year. The DECC has not been the hospitable home that it was been in the past. As for watching old reruns...I have been repeatedly viewing the beatdown that the Dogz put on the Gophers in Grand Rapids last year in the NCAA's, to soothe the ache of another sub .500 year. Now I will have another tape to watch when I need to see a Dogz victory to cheer me up!
  22. I think you may have something here (not just with North Dakota, but with the 'Dogs as well. I'm going to have to quote you on my site.) I don't listen to many of your games, but I am constantly hearing things about how "the puck won't lie down" or "he fanned on it" or "he just got his stick on it" or any number of things about the 'Dogs' offensive, um, struggles. It's quality, not quantity. You can shoot the puck at the net all you want and run up the totals, but if you shoot it right at the logo each time, quantum physics says there's only an infinitesmally small chance that the puck will, rather than reflect, go through the goalie. I hope they aren't waiting for that. I've been frustrated for awhile about the 'Dogs' flurry of shots with little results, but now you've got me thinking...
  23. Um yeah I absolutely can't believe that I just saw that posted on this board. NERD! I can totally understand your frustrations as the 'Dogs have many of the same issues: so many shots, so few goals, so many fewer wins. The 'Dogs won last night, and from what I heard, they were really taking it to SC. 5 goals, 2 on the PP and one SH. A near shutout. AND it sounded like they just shook off the MONTH LONG LOSING STREAK (yes folks) and played some real hockey. They sounded like last year's team. They also nearly had a UW-Superior-style brawl at the end. So the 'Dogs might be back. I really wish you guys had gotten a win out of the weekend, just to knock CC down a bit. BUT your team has shown us we DO have a chance. You didn't get blown away or anything. 2-1 and 1-0 losses are still losses, but it showed you can hang with the #1 team. Also, Mafia Man, 1888? You are OLD, man.
  24. NOW BEAT CC SO THEY ARE SAD FOR NEXT WEEK AND WE CAN GET A WIN!
  25. They've got to shake it off and get another one! Although winning in shots doesn't mean you're going to win the game (like the 'dogs have seen), the goalie ain't perfect.
