The thing is, I agree with Dagies. I used to feel the same way he did, almost bad for you, because you couldn't say anything without someone jumping down your throat. Then you went and insulted me over here, and I understood what you were all about. No one "interprets your humor correctly." You just aren't funny. You stir up the pot, get your shots in, and then you hide behind the "I'm just kidding, guys!" excuse. As if you were good buddies with people here. I don't know, maybe you are. But you know exactly what you're doing when you come here and say what you say, so don't play dumb. Figure yourself out. If you want to be an instigator, go away. If you really want to get a break around here, you have to lay off your usual antics. No one would react the way they do if they honestly thought you were kidding. You'd be well advised to bring some eggshells for awhile. And there's no smiley face after that one. I'm not kidding. It's entirely possible to come to this board as a fan of another team and feel like you belong. It's not particularly hard, either. It's even possible to get a few barbs in and have people understand you're kidding. Granted, we can't all be comedic geniuses like I am, but that's neither here nor there. I will donate you some eggshells to walk on, if you're hard up for cash or something. For crying out loud, get a clue.

You guys are missing the point. Air Force One was asking about Walski. I never said Grieco would be getting the #1 spot, I just said he wasn't coming in to take the #3 spot. If Walski was in their plans as the #2 (or hey, even #1) goalie, does anyone think Grieco would have been brought in? No way.

I think if I was a goalie, put up those kinds of numbers, and had that poor of a record, I'd hang myself with a jockstrap. W/L isn't a stat that can stand on its own for goalies, just like it can't for pitchers in baseball. Bert Blyleven not in the HOF because he didn't have 300 wins? But then again, that's another discussion for another board. I'm not surprised that Grieco is getting this much attention, because it was my understanding he was brought in because Jordy left, specifically to strengthen the team in goal. I thought that he wasn't even part of their immediate plans until Jordy left. You don't move someone in early so they can be the #3 goalie and ride the pine every game except exhibition.

I didn't think it was the defense that was a problem in front of him, it was the offense. It seemed to me like he'd give up 1 or 2 goals and the guys would only score 0 or 1 so he'd have a fabulously played loss.

Nothing I said was rude, unless you tried really hard to interpret it that way. I don't think the 'Dogs will be in 2nd, however, they have a completely legitimate chance of being in the top 5. Maybe if you spend less time stirring up trouble while pretending you're not here to start anything, then you'd have a clearer picture of what's going on in the WCHA. P.S. Don't call me a prick.
