Me and my bro are comin from Denver. - hockey beer filled weekend. Flying home Sunday is gonna hurt a bit.

I am looking for three lower bowl tickets for the Friday night Holy Cross game on Jan. 4th. I also need 3 tickets for Jan. 5th but not absolutely necessary.

...Try living in Denver -> same holds true for the Donkey er. I mean Broncos. They are already talking Super Bowl. Last year at this time Tebow was the God Child. Nonetheless, the fans out here in Denver seem to be a bit over the top when it comes to their team. I don't have a problem with that but cmon - be realistic - I'm a Vikings fan and realize we are 10 - 6, first round of playoffs and out. year in and year out. I dont over celebrate. Oh well. When the Denver teams lose and their fans go into depression it makes the wins all the better.

If any of you are fortunate enough to have the correct Directv package you have the option to watch the hockey game on Friday and Saturday nigths on blurvision OR in HD on channel 628 (NESNHD). I would prefer to watch it using our channel, announcers etc. but it is too hard to resist watching it on HD.

I am very thankful we have televised games AND a penalty clock however it is frustrating to see such a significant loss of quality ( audio\video ) in just one year. Out of curiosity I went back and looked at numerous games I have tivod from last year and there is not even a slight doubt that the quality has significantly dropped from last year to this year. There are times this year where I cannot even see the puck let alone players numbers on their jerseys. I am viewing the games via Directv -> FCS this year and last year so I think the comparison is pretty fair. Has anyone else been able to test this?

I really don't care about the backdrop of the announcers as much as I do of the 1986 vintage video quality and the audio being off by about 2 seconds. It's 2012 and this is unacceptable in my opinion. I would rather watch a webcast than this junk. I'm not even going to go down the road of complaining about the lack of HD - just get the picture\audio problems fixed - or at least into the 1990's.

I just checked my directv guide and the Friday night game is now listed - and I have it recorded. I guess that does not necessarily mean it can't get pulled since I have been down this road before with Directv - record a game on Monday or Tuesday and it gets pulled by Thursday. Maybe this is a good sign since it was not on the channel guide earlier in the week but now it is - the opposite of what it was before.

Same problem here - we get the Directv premier pkg only for Sioux games - I don't think Comcast is an option for us where we live tho. Looks like another weekend of watching the webcast - which is way better than nothing - I won't complain too loud.

I don't remember how much the rooms are per night but it is very conveniently located - close to restaurants and all of the bars you need to hit while at the Final 5.

I teach face offs by doing them. over and over. I grab the centers and have them line up head to head in various places on the ice - the face off location will dictate where you want\need to go with the puck. We will draw\push\protect pucks over and over. Like anything, the more you practice somthing the better you become. In the case of face offs, you need to specialize in this area. The second step is to get the wingers\def. involved becase the way you address a puck drop in the offensive zone is different than it is in the neutral zone and in the defensive zone. Bottom line. Plan your face offs and practice them.
