A couple of factoids I have heard in the media: On PTI, the Diamondbacks are the second team ever to make it to the World Series having been outscored in the regular season. The other was the Minnesota Twins. On the Dan Patrick Show, the Rangers (84) and Diamondbacks (90) combined have the fewest Regular Season wins for any World Series in which a full season was played.

Definitely didn’t see that coming last night. So now they have got us Viking fans hopes up only to be crushed again at some point. That’s Minnesota sports

Gustaffson with a 41 save shutout for the Wild over Florida tonight. Fleury should only play 30-35% of the games this season unless of course Gusty gets injured.

VANCOUVER -- Brock Boeser scored four goals for the first time in his NHL career, and the Vancouver Canucks opened the season with a 8-1 win against the Edmonton Oilers at Rogers Arena on Wednesday. His four goals tied a record for the most by a Canucks player in a season opener (Greg Adams on Oct. 8, 1987; Rick Blight on Oct. 6, 1976). Boeser didn’t score in the first 11 games last season and finished with 18 goals, the second-fewest of his NHL career. “I’d say it’s pretty high,” Boeser said of his confidence. “I got to that mindset in the summer where I’ve got to be a better hockey player and really work hard. I came back and it continues every day. I’ve got to have that same mindset tomorrow, the next practice, the morning skate, I’ve got to keep it going.” https://www.nhl.com/news/

Go Twins. I’m off to beer league puck
-
Stewart in for Ryan
-
Lewis goes deep once again
-
A 1,2,3 inning for Ryan in the first. How bout doing what Houston did in the first last night. Score a run or 4
-
Sonny is going to want to much in my opinion. Polanco and Kepler aren’t going to break the bank. I’d let Sonny walk for what I think he’s going to want
-
Texas wins. The three AL East teams bow out with a combined playoff record of 0-7
-
Lewis looking like a rookie at the plate today
-
Just can’t get that big hit so far. Definitely if had their chances
-
Seems Sonny has settled down. Now let’s get him some runs
-
Opportunity squandered
-
Damnit. Nasty pitch
-
Be nice to get a couple of runs in the first 2 innings letting him know the team still has his back. Come on boys
-
Get 5 from Sonny? How about 1. Yikes
