No he is no Mattson but man has he come a long way since his freshman year. I thought we had another Finley for awhile there but his stickhandling is night and day from 3 years ago. I was at the game last night and after the first period performance I am happy wit 1 point. Sloppy play to say the least and the ol' pipes saved their butts. Michigan Tech is not the Tech of old. There is some talent there and they work hard. As of now I gotta give Person coach of the year in thwe WCHA.

I say ya ride Eids while he is hot. When he is on which he is right now he is a damn good goalie. I would be a bit shocked if he doesn't start friday.

Sioux shot themselves in the foot last night by going to the box way to often in the first period. In my opinion Blood cost them the game by getting kicked out with cfb major. Stupid selfish play on his part when he knows the Sioux are shorthanded.Nice comeback though after being down by three 22 minutes into the game only to lose 5-4 and Rowney damn near tying it up with 6 seconds left in the game. Nice to see him have a great weeknd. Looks like there is another scoring threat besides that first line and it couldn't come at a better time.

I have a good feeling about this series and I don't know why. I just think the boys put it all together and play with a playoff intensity,which quite frankly they need to do from here on out,and they take 4 points from Bucky. Trying to stay positive in a somewhat downer year thus far. They make the tourney this year and ya never know. It's anybodies as long as ya make it.

I coach high school hockey and my starters rotate so they all can start the same amount of time.
