I agree. I just hate how some posters are making excuses for this loss. As a coach of this great game I always told my players after a loss I don't want to hear any excuses as excuses are for losers.

Once a player puts on that jersey he should be pumped up and give his best regardless of who is on the other bench.

Terrible effort by the US in the 3rd. Russia clogged the middle and couldn't get good looks in close. Special teams were the difference and the reffing was iffy at best. I blame Lucia.

Being he is my nephew, he came real close to choosing UND over NDSU simply because he could of played right away. I tried talking him into it but no dice.

I hate shootouts in college hockey. It's like ending a tie football game with a field goal contest. I say go to 10 minutes of 4 on 4 and still tied so be it.
