I was wondering how far some of you drive to get to Fighting Sioux home football games. I used to sit next to a husband and wife who drove from North Carolina to Piscataway for Rutgers games.

I didn't know Grand Forks Airport was able to handle jets. I doubt there is anything non-stop from Newark or Philadelphia,but maybe something that goes through Minneapolis or Denver.

Speaking of spending money on Sioux hockey, I am thinking about trying to get to a game in the 2010-11 season. I assume Minneapolis/Saint Paul is the closest airport. How many hours from the Twin Cities to Grand Forks by car? What do small rental cars go for per day at the airport? How much is a regular hotel (Red Roof Inn,Econo Lodge,etc.) per night in Grand Forks? For most series,is it fairly easy to get decent seats for both weekend games? What is the chance I might get snowed in during November since I would like to make a football game too? Thanks for any info.

I know this is a bit early,but I was wondering if you think there will be a big turnout of North Dakota fans for the Cornell games and how many tickets will the Sioux be given to sell? Hoping to make it to one of the games up in Ithaca,but Cornell's website makes it sound like there are not many individual game tickets available through them. I wanted to give a big THANK YOU to the Fighting Sioux players,coaches, fans and especially YaneA. Even though it ended too early, I hope all of you enjoyed the season and the efforts of all involved as much as me.
