Well said! And with that fine statement I'll follow up and close with this question we can all ask ourselves... WHAT COLOR DO YOU BLEED? Looking forward to the perspective and stories from those out in Denver... Have a good night everyone! Go Sioux!
-
I hear ya... we all wanted it bad (not taking away from your perspective at all). But, in the end... we are just fans. But look who we're fans of? The best college hockey team on earth! (Actually, I'm started to sound awfully frickin' sappy... but it is the way I feel) Go Sioux!

I hear what you're saying and I agree that we "should've" won. But shoulda, woulda, coulda... Everytime the Sioux lost, we lost to a better team that night. In the past I probably would've been cussing and swearing, throwing things around, dumping on the coach, team and whoever else I thought was to blame and would've said bull$%!# about the other team being losers, etc. But I guess having kids brought me some opportunity to be a little more introspective on things. As a result, while I'm pissed off, I realize there more to it than just the loss. While Hakstol hasn't gotten the National Championship yet (and it's the whole team, not just the coach) he'll (along with everyone else on the team) get us there. We still have made it further that so many other teams and there are probably plenty of fans that would like to have a team like the Sioux that gets them that far. I'm as disappointed as much as any other Sioux fan but like Upper Deck said, "...they took us to the mountain and while we didn't get to the peak, we got to enjoy the view above the clouds." For me... that sums it up. But everyone has their opinion...

That's beautiful man... very true!

Your wait is over!

Any idea what the SOGs are at this point?
-
I just felt the wheels of the bandwagon run over something...
-
Disappointing... yes indeed. But man... how many teams/players can we say have done what the Sioux have done these last four years? Yes, they haven't been able to get the prize, but they've taken their fans close and always for a crazy and exicitng ride. I'll take the last four years versus never even getting the chance. Good luck and godspeed for those departing players. We'll be watching you in the pros and we'll be watching the Fighting Sioux next year taking us on another crazy ride! Go Sioux!!

Never a truer statement! GO FIGHTING SIOUX!!!
-
I guess this is why I have yet to go to the Frozen Four... I save a lot of money and can be miserable in my own home.
-
Thorne mentions that BC is looking to "mercy" the Sioux... I've never heard that regarding the Sioux before...
-
That's what it is... frickin' 'staches.
-
You're so optimistic
-
It is now "officially" over. You win as a team and you lose as a team. Tonight, they lose as a team. Can't find any words (like everyone else). Absolutely the worst perfarmance I've seen from the Sioux. I've never seen them this rattled and unfocused. ****lets out one big sigh***

Lifeboats... post #113.
-
Well... now I have resigned myself that this game is very well over. 5 - 0. Can't stand Gerbe but he's a heck of a player. The better team is winning the game (guess why that is why they would be called the better team). Another BC PP.
-
Another give away by the Sioux but Lammy happened to show up for the save. Can't keep doing to it to him. Sioux penalty
-
that's what I get for listening to the Thorne. No BC penalty.
-
Another Sioux PP coming up. Can they capitalize on this one?
-
Going into the second, they teams are statisically close. 4 - 0 is one hell of a lead but I still think with 40 minutes, the Sioux can still capitalize. Let's show it with this PP!
-
Well... let's start dropping the lifeboats in the water and those who want can get on. I'm sticking with 'em even though they're losing.
-
Some tremendous ass chewing should be taking place. Got to get it together coming into the 2nd.
-
Lammy looks like he's getting tentative in his decision making...
