Kid has heart but heart only goes so far. Can't be 5'9" and not have an arm like Doug Flutie and expect to be the qb. It was obviously a Bubba decision to have him start other wise he would still be our qb. Im not saying qb was the only problem but it didn't help. I wish they would just use him as a gadget player but they wont.

You have that flipped K-State 17 UND 35. I think the defense is going to be alot better then last year.

JTJ is a much better athlete then Jerry, if we are talking strictly athletic abilities JTJ is a better athlete. Also Simon will probably be Qb3, and who cares if they gave JTJ 50k hes still a sophomore can still develop more.

If you can pass the ball between 10-15 yard and use the TE/WR you can move the ball against Kansas st. Will be a hell of a challenge. But also might get people kill good thing we are deep at TE

I think Simon is more the "holy !@#$ these other qbs really suck, cant be any worse then it was last year qb", then an actual qb2.

We aren't asking to air it out for 305 every game just efficient enough passing to effectively assist the running game to average 250 yards a game. I don't give a hoot between Jerry and JTJ as long a Simon is only used as a scat back and nothing more. If it is Simon we have some real issues with recruiting qbs, I understand he was a Bubbaball recruit and it can take a few years to get the new coaches "guys" here and rolling but I don't know if UND has a few years to wait. I just hope we can get atleast Tommy "the goat" Schuster level of play with a bit more deep ball action.

I did and was very intoxicated by the 2 half sitting in a bar in devils lake. Funny enough wad sitting next to Simon's neighbor from back home so couldn't be to pissed off. It was hard to watch.

When we beat the bison there wasn't much heads down. Its all about the quality put on the field if we are good the kids and fans will stay past half time.

Your welcome. We can't just dink and dunk all year again it will set the team back, there has to be consistent down field threat to alow the running game to take even more of the next step just like. The cow university to the south does so well. If we can do that we will be one hell of a team.

Some times having a bad qb can be fun. But I do get what your says. Just don't want to loose the students early in the year.
