    Great pick up, but with NIL it’s almost harder to hold onto big recruits than get them to commit. Have to hold onto them now until December.

    If it was profitable, ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU would be all over it. ESPN+ streaming is maybe the best NCHC can hope for more of a national coverage. The fact is college hockey doesn't have a national appeal, sorry for having to keep repeating this. I suspect CBS Sports will pull away from the doing select nationally televised Friday night NCHC games as well and instead pick up college basketball games.

    NIL money for mid-major women's BB is not a thing.

    Let's be honest, outside our region there is little interest in college hockey on the national landscape. College football and basketball will continue to drive the revenue for ESPN and alike.

    It would continue to operate the same way it does today, NCHC simply picks up the inhouse feed from the host school. Some are good feeds others are awful but usually there is some standard they should be able to follow. Midco Sports+ is almost becoming the regional ESPN+...all streaming content. CBS Sports doesn't have the streaming rights.

    Midco will be making a big bid for the NCHC streaming rights as they currently have all the streaming rights to the CCHA Hockey and Summit League BB. I believe they are renewing the TV rights for all of UND sports as well

    FWIW saw King/kraft/reggie at the rodeo with what appeared to be a new recruit, bigger guy say 6-10

    Unless he is carrying bags of NIL cash, it’s still going to be an uphill road to land the high end talent with the amount of money being thrown around by bigger schools

    Last year the limit was 13 schollys, not sure UND is offering the max yet. All the juniors you listed should be sophomores as they all redshirted

    100k in NIL is all it took. I was a bit surprised to learn the amount wasn’t higher. Man NIL money sucks for hockey compared to bb and fb

    Jocie's family is pretty close, she either lands back at UND or somewhere within 77 miles of here

    doubt it, but they owe Berry 500K and had to create new job title for Bubba and continue to pay him.

    No, not this year as the athletic dept is reeling right now and they don't have any extra cash lying around for another contract buy out. They lost their few portal players and now rebuild I guess.
