  1. Little late but the only sorority house that might get torn down is the Pi Beta Phi house. Low membership and house has not been occupied in two years. Delta Gamma on the corner of Uni and Columbia has been thriving, been in the house a few times, it’s very well maintained.
  2. Trust me, Schloss isn’t oblivious. He just has his opinions. He’s not going state everything about the program to the public. It’s bad journalism and he has been doing this for a long time. He’s not going to risk burning any bridges
  3. While I'm sure many of you saw Sacha’s instagram post (just a BU hype video) — id like to give some biased input that the media wont tell you about him. He’s an ass — shows up to all of his classes 30 minutes late, interrupts them, walks in without a backpack and brings a meal and eats in class (no other guy on the hockey team did this). As been reported, he got into a fight at Pike fraternity, and dipped to BU the next day (blindsided the team). Imo, good player, terrible kid.
  4. This is 100% true. He needs to develop his two way game.
  5. Id rather take a guy who is young and has gotten better each year, knows the conference (and is a goal scorer btw), then some 30 point senior from the Atlantic conference. Menghini is a great pick up for what is available.
  6. Big pick up. Menghini should fit right in. No reason this kid can’t be a 30 point player next season.
  7. Swanson should not be in the same sentence as Perron and O-Mac. Dude is a stud and plays hard. USHL player of the year, champion. He’ll take a second. He’s 5’8
  8. I think that right away, with the portal or commits via the CHL/USHL, we might get some head scratchers. I really hope Jax does have a master plan for the guys they bring in. I think getting on GM working right away will be key to identify players that fit the new style of play. Idc how many points a dude has in his respective junior league, as long as he can come in and make an impact. That being said, it’s key that our returning players make a jump. James 30 to 40 + points — Strinden needs to go crazy. I think Mac will be elite next year. Things can go very well for our forward group assuming they just get better. Our D should be rock solid, would love to see Emery take a step offensively. Strathman was a hard physical defenseman in the USHL, he took a few penalties because of that, but if he rounds out his D game, he can be a game changer on offense.
  9. Correct but he had an extra year, some guys participate in senior day and still return. That isn't unusual in this day and age.
  10. Not sure if it has been discussed on the forum but hearing Dane Montgomery will not be returning next season.
  11. I’ve had credentials for a while now. So it’s easy to work with the athletic department for hockey
  12. Can you elaborate more on the GM role? Jax: Yeah, I just think, you know we've kind of had it where all of our guys are on the bench. I think we need to get out more. Yeah, it's just so much to cover now with the CHL being open, so we gotta have one guy dedicated to kind of roster management and recruiting. So that doesn't mean we won't be out on the road like we're gonna. There might be some games and we have just two guys on the bench and another person could be out watching games, but we'll have the one spot that's always kind of in charge of it, and then kind of, hopefully, kind of directing us some real targeted, efficient recruiting, so that we're not just flock shooting, but we're that guy knows that most the pool, and say, Hey, Jax, we got to get you guys out to see this, this and this player. And then we can kind of all build build a book on that player, and then know if you want to make that decision or not to bring him in
  13. What’s the timeline for the next coaching hire? Hope the one job should maybe early next week could get filled. So it'll be exciting to try to get some more guys down in the War Room, like today, Dylan Simpson was gone on the road recruiting, so it's just me. So it's always nice to be have some other guys to chew on stuff with. But yeah, we'll hope that one position will be filled early next week, and then, and then we'll get a little bit of time after that. You know, we've worked through a process, but to say, I think it was important to get the one person hired, and then kind of maybe, maybe a few weeks down the road after that. Yes, one. This quote is kinda all over the place, but it sounded like they have their guy. Nice that Simpson is out recruiting.
  14. Yeah like I said I didn't have much time so I couldn't really follow up. I think it will take Jax a bit to get used to talking to media. I think he was a little nervous lol
