I'd say YSU's qb is shiftier and maybe 1st step quicker but Payton is bigger and stronger and maybe faster in the open. Guys gotta go low and take his legs out or he might push guys off or run thru em if has a full head of steam. I think we need to really pressure him but hold containment and not let him get out on the edges.

This is true, ya it sucks lost to USD but I think back at beginning of yr we would all be happy to be sitting where we are rt now. And then probably thinking not having real good chances against both xdsus in reality. But now I think most believe we actually have a very good chance to beat at least 1 and decent chance of getting both if we play to our capabilities.

If beat ndsu will be top 8 but if only beat sdsu I could see em screwing us out of top 8 n probably 9-10

Yep that's the same feeling I had. The defense overall was pretty good except for only a couple big plays like the td 3 guys whiffed on and they got bailed out by a few big penalties were we had em dead in the water.

F all the bozos. I still feel if everyone does everything to their capabilities- including coaches- I like our chances tho.

I'm thinking will still be in the 10-12 place range when actual poll comes out. The loss to USD sucks but everything is still rt there for us. Just win and it will all work out.

Exactly what I thought needed to post up some of their smaller guys n drive but instead we bomb away 3s without making defense work and keep doing screen on ball with Amar n they just double Treysen. Obviously that wasn't working n just kept doing it over n over. So disappointing. But that's why St Thomas wins with the players they have cuz they play smarter than most. When they started moving ball and driving we couldn't stop em.
