If I remember correctly, Miller posted similar stats in his Senior year at Shattuck as Toews and Okposo did last year......Okposo will be a senior this year, but I have been told he is going to be playing in the USHL......does anyone have an update??

I hope we will be able to keep most of them around for a while........and that we get a chance to see this freshman class play together as they mature.

I think Dowzak would seriously consider the Sioux......he was teammates with about 1/3 of the Siouxs current roster at Shattuck St Marys and it is alot easier to adjust to a new school and college life when you have a good core of friends around.....

Most teams let the most senior (age wise) players select their number first.....It will boil down to whether that number is still availble when it is his time to select!!

Miller, Duncan, Toews and Chorney all played on the 2003/2004 Shattuck St. Marys team....If I remember correctly Duncan, Miller and Toews were 1-2-3 in team scoring with Duncan on top and Miller and Toews not far behind.....not sure they played on the same line, but am sure they know each others strengths and playmaking skills....they all seemed to know how to find the net and score

I think if you look at Green Bays seasons roster they have had 38 different players in their lineup this season.....I relaize they are trying to improve, but it must be difficult for any of these players to get comfortable with linemates when they are different every week!!

Lets not forget that Hakstol inherited the team that he currently has.......he was not officially named head coach until mid July and the team lost its 2 top players last summer........the good thing is that he seems to have recruited some very good offensive players for next year....Toews, Duncan, Miller, Kozek and Watkins for next season and Oshie & Vandevelde for 06.......add on the good defensive core group and things should fall into place......we are getting the shots on net and the goals will come........if anything, just get more traffic in front of the net and the pucks will start to go in...

It looks like he finished with 1 goal and 1 assist.........had the same scoring the previous night.......he is up to 10 goals and 10 assists on the season and is tied for second in goals scored for Green Bay, 1 behind Blake Wheeler.

Yes, he will be coming to Grand Forks in the coming weeks........as a player for Team Canada at the World Jrs!!!!

It is my understanding Toews has combined his Junior & Senior year classes together in order to graduate this year and move onto a higher level of hockey.....I don't think he will ever go and play in the USHL, but being from Winnipeg I think there is a good chance he would return to Canada and play in the WHL......He was a teamate of Duncan and Miller last year and Chorney this year, so he would feel very comfortable being around guys he knows and has played with in the past.....I hope if he selects UND that he plans on being there for 4 years.....it is proving to be difficult when your top players jump after a couple of years.

Brad Miller seemed to have a good weekend for Green Bay.....2 goals and 1 assist......but Green Bay continues to stuggle in getting wins.

Hey, were ranked 4th in the nation, given up too many goals and not scored enough........I think Hakstol will get it figured out!!!!!

I saw the Green Bay/Lincoln game at the Buc Bowl and Miller did have a good game and both his goals were very nice and also made a good set-up on another......agree, 6 points in 3 games is a good start in the USHL.

Dave Hakstol has done most of the recruiting for the past few years and seems to have done a good job in bringing some of the best talent in both the US and Canada to UND........This coming years recruits are very good as well as those coming in 2005......lets hope he can continue to be the force behind bringing top talent to our school!!!!!

I am sure the coaches at UND know what they are looking for and and found all the skills in this kid to make him an offer to attend our school!

Drafted by Green Bay Gamblers in USHL 2nd round.....will spend upcoming season in USHL and enroll in UND in fall of 2005......spent past 3 years at Shattuck St. Marys and grew up in Toronto area......good speed, good hands and good ice sense......should be a good UND addition.

Recently drafted 16th overall in USHL draft by Green Bay Gamblers(Their 2nd pick). Will spend coming season in the USHL and will enroll at UND for 2005 season.
