they're in a nose dive right now though for whatever reason. I wouldn't be surprised if they lose to Davies today and RR next after the beat down GFC just gave them. Does EGF have some major injuries or what happened?
-
North Dakota teams are 18-6 vs Minnesota teams so far this year. Guessing it'll be 25-8 after today... And that's with EGF, TRF, Warroad, Roseau and Alexandria in the mix.
-
6-1 century over roch mayo final WF over river lakes 3-2
-
GFC 13-0 over Notre dame of west haven…woof century leading Rochester mayo 3-1 great night for NDHSH sheesh.
-
RR over warroad 4-2 mayport over LOW 10-1 legacy is up 12-0 over Marshall mn so far alex over WFS 6-4 guessing central will beat warroad tomorrow too.
-
Looks like GPR is playing in a TRF holiday tournament that starts today. They play Crookston today and TRF tomorrow. Assuming they will beat Crook and lose to TRF.
-
Davies 9-6 over DL…what the heck lol FN 4-2 over WF WFS over Shanley 6-0
-
A few games tonight before the short break. All 3 will be pretty big for the EDC standings battles. DL vs Davies, FN vs WF and WFS vs Shanley. All 3 should be tight, but does anyone have predictions? I'll go with Davies over DL 3-2, WF over FN 4-2 and WFS over Shanley 5-2.
-
And now they got spanked by GFC to boot. I'd bet money RR is going to beat this time around now too.
-
Looks like Mayport is 5-1 vs Minnesota teams and 0-3 vs North Dakota teams. Judging by their schedule which is mostly filled by A minnesota teams, they are going to end up having a 15 or 16 win season. Good for them. Another sign that there are a lottttt of really bad 1A varsity hockey teams in Minnesota. Hence why Wahp has been so successful playing there after 2 decades of 0 win seasons in the EDC.
-
Wow that is a crappy way to lose. McKenna just did that for team Canada the other night.
-
I’m not sure EGF is going to win another game this season. Getting spanked by GFC tonight. Haven’t beat a single MN team yet?
-
I think there are a few Thursday night games that got rescheduled to tonight that aren't listed. Might be more like 8-10 games tonight!
-
ahhh yes that must be what all those games in fargo are. Cool
-
Looks like quite a few are playing multi-game non-con games together either in tournament or scheduled game fashion. TRF, Roseau, Warroad, Bis teams all going to Fargo and more.

The DL the goalie factory saga continues. I saw a highlight from the game last night where WF's 1st line made a hell of a play for a highlight reel scoring chance but the DL goalie read it like a book and turned it into his own highlight reel play. I was impressed. I really thought Davies was going to beat RR, holy smokes. Does this put RR at #2 in power rankings and Davies at 4 or 5 with WFS? Dare I say DL at 3? Minot continues to be better than I thought as well, so they must've reloaded pretty fast. Legacy and Mandan might be the only other 2 in the west in the mix to be able to knock them off at some point. I'm interested to see how the Jamestown vs Legacy game goes on Thursday. If Jamestown hadnt lost 6-1 to minot, I would have had Jamestown in the mix of the top 3.
-
Looks like some good ones.
-
Wow a 1-0 barn burner for the top 2 in the west. But it also seems like legacy’s worth is rising so maybe it’ll be a 3 way race in the west. We shall see
-
Davies up 3-2 on WF so far DL and WFS tied 3-3 after 2 RR up 5-0 on GPR so far. legacy and century tied 2-2 so far minot and Mandan tied 0-0 so far

Meh, GFC lost to EGF early last year and then buried them in late January (same margin of victory as moorhead did just 3 days later). Plus out of the past 10 years I think EGF has only won the Gambucci cup 2 times or possibly 1 (last year) if I remember correctly. In ND, this might finally be the year we see a non-GF champion as both seem to be down a little. My way too early prediction right now would be WFS. It’s clear there isn’t a true contender out west this season, unfortunately, so after WFS there might be an outside chance for WF or Davies too? With that said, none of us would be shocked if GFC or even RR finds their stride as the year progresses and rallies late to add yet another title to their collection. But for now I have high hopes someone else could get it done for once.

Central over Davies by 3 goals RR over WFS by 1 goal GPR over WF by 1 goal BH over HB by 5 goals Minot over Jamestown by 1 goal
-
But I’ll throw my hat in the ring 1. Central 2. RR 3. Davies 4. WFS 5. FN 6. DL 7. GPR 8. Shanley 9. WF 10. Mayport 1. Mandan 2. Minot 3. Legacy 4. Jamestown 5. Bott 6. High 7. Dickinson 8. Century 9. Williston 10. HB
-
I’m no where near familiar enough to guess on much yet. But my gut told me WF was going to be bad this year without Mattern but you seem to know otherwise. I was going to guess GPR beats WF tomorrow since their win over FN doesn’t appear like it was a fluke (even shots).
-
I saw he had an assist in the game against DL last night so he must be back already? 5-3 GFC over DL last night.
-
It has been a weird year already. Other than WF, it appears any of the F+WF teams could beat one another? Mandan might run the table in the west?! DL and Grafton appear to be pretty solid and might have a decent shot to be in the mix for the #4 spot in the east? I'll admit, I thought even with losing a few guys early that Century would be a top dog in the west this year, but by the looks of it they might have their lowest finish in the west in many many years. Hopefully the Thursday, Friday and Saturday games clear things up a bit, because right now I can't gauge crap lol. Davies vs Central and WFS vs RR might give us a better pulse on the EDC.
