I think we’re all on the same page here. Im fine with getting a high school mid every year or even a few, but like @UND92,96 mentioned we can’t have 5ish scholarships ties up to developmental guys especially when they’re hasn’t been a great history of developing players or keeping players after a great freshman year
-
Yeah its more so I want Reggie to be good versus I’d bet on him being good. Wouldn’t surprise me if he did transfer out (No sources on that)
-
Not saying King should be a point guard or even get minutes as our point. I trust him to get a rebound or outlet pass and push it in transition to try and get something easy or get us into our halfcourt offense. Im not selling my Thomas stock yet, I still think he can be a contributor, just not sure what his role will/should be.

King and Thomas are good secondary ball handlers but I hope they are able to bring in a stud PG and a defensive big man

Comment if I have something wrong but this is what we’re looking at for next season right now. Not sure if we have any other HS offers out there or if they’re all ‘26s UND has offered GUARDS: Eli King Reggie Thomas Zach Kraft Anthony Doppler Greyson Uelemn WINGS: Mambourou Mara George Natsvishvili Mathew Bothun POSTS: Ryan Erickson INCOMING: Karson Ouse Wing HS Micah Curtis Wing HS Marlay Curtis Wing HS Confirmed Offers/Interests: Reese Miller Guard/Wing Juco Connor Davis Guard NAIA

Be interesting to see who has already reached out to Treysen
-
Correct, this isn’t a surprise to me. Always felt like he would only be here 1 year.
-
I wanted him to be UND’s starter center so bad
-
Caleb Van De Griend, I haven’t seen much of him but he puts up 21 PPG and 13 REB and was first team NSIC. He kind of came out of no where this year
-
I’ll bring this thread back on topic. Common theme at the start of the portal, UND wants wings that can shoot it
-
I can think of 200,000 reasons why someone would want to coach at UND. Regardless of how you feel about the new landscape of college athletics, they’re changing for better or worse. Good programs don’t complain about the hand they’re dealt they just go figure it out.
-
Good point, we’ll see what happens this next week portal wise for UND and how many scholarships are available.
-
I dont think he is a D1 player yet. Had a great end of the season with UMary but would prefer targeting a true big man or point guard
-
14 PPG 10.9 rebounds 3.6 ast 51.9 FG% and most importantly 67 total blocks!!
-
Anybody have any guys they would like UND to target in the portal? I like Creighton Morisch 6’10 from USF, was first team all NSIC and DPOY. I believe he has 1 year of eligibility.
-
Smaller schools will have to market themselves as a juco almost. A way to come play for 2 years and use it as a stepping stone to a bigger conference. Now will that work out when they leave who knows. Some guys will take that opportunity and others like with King and Mier you pick up guys who are dropping down looking for a bigger role
-
Ok I cant take anything seriously after you said the NSIC will be better than the Summit

Cmon if you’re going to lie, at least make the lie believable
-
I think it needs to be at least 300k reasons and thats if he takes a home town discount
-
UND really had a double digit lead and now cant get a shot off
