No, an example of a replay of a ripper through the net that was conclusive a couple years ago at Final Five when SCSU was playing Minnesota, I think. I joked then, "oh, yeah, that happens ALL the time." If it was so damn conclusive, why'd it take our WCHA brains trust 10 minutes to make the call?

What is the standard if it's inconclusive? A no goal? I really would've like to have seen AFA go... but go figure... WCHA refs...
Isn't it that it requires conclusive replay evidence to overturn call by on-ice official? The on-ice call was no call, thus no goal at the time

No way that replay is conclusive! Leave it to WCHA refs to decide a game in this ridiculous fashion. Poor Air Force. They just got hosed!!

I just e-mailed my oldest friend--who doesn't know a damn thing about hockey except how much I love it--that our season is over and before I can talk about it I have to process my feelings first.
The loss stings, they all do. Is there any such thing as a good way to lose? As long as they insist upon keeping score, there's going to be a loser and a winner in the NCAAs. Winning is definitely better, as I remember from the euphoria of Milwaukee and Providence. We'll get to the Promised Land again, we will! Right now, it's time to reflect, refuel and then go at it again full bore in about 6 months.
Can't wait for that puck to drop.

Thank you, seniors, for wearing the Sioux crest with pride and class. I know you've created bonds with your teammates that will last a lifetime. Cherish the memories. It's been a helluva ride.
