Exactly. Free throw shooting (and shooting in general) is about mechanics and confidence. Running sprints will never improve either of those.

Again, he missed several in the first half. Has nothing to do with being tired. Steph Curry is not a better late game free throw shooter than LeBron James because he is in better shape or ran more sprints in the off season.... you're stuck in the past dude and unfortunately i have heard stories from former players that make me believe this staff could be as well

This was a bad loss. Half court offense is just bad. Generates zero good looks consistently. Forces players to try do too much. Play the young guys and get more up tempo

This is such an out dated method that does nothing to make players better. Please tell me how running will help a player make free throws??

Half court offense is not good. Often ends with guys trying to do things they are not capable of

Hopefully BJ just bumped knees with the guy at the end. Limping pretty bad walking off court

Portland is good but we look nothing like the team from last weekend

A couple of those inbound plays I noticed we had Nero throwing it in while they had their 6’10” long, center on ball. I would rather have BJ or Lavias have the ball there to have more size and Nero just isn’t great at passing the ball. I have no idea what is up with Mitch. Thought he might be the best player watching the exhibition. Seems to have lost all confidence. He air balled that shot from the corner by a good 5 feet. They we trapping the pick n roll and leaving the short roll open. He would be the perfect player for that. He scored once off of it but after that wasn’t much of a factor

I think this was a winnable game. I wasn’t that impressed with Iowa state tbh. I also don’t think we played that well so it’s kinda a wash. I think it was good to see a defense like that. Could be very beneficial as the season moves along

Team just doesn’t have someone on the roster that can go get a bucket on their own. Hoping bj develops into that guy
