Conner Kraft is the interesting one left in North Dakota. Have seen some say he's the best player in the class for North Dakota (in a class with 3 other guys committed to d1 schools). He played AAU for Howard Pulley. I believe when coaches could start talking to players in this class he had heard from some high mid major and even a couple of p5 programs. I would think he would be a d1 level player based on that but haven't seen him report any offers.
I think Zach Kraft is probably skilled enough to play d1 basketball but size and frame will always be a limiting factor for him
Hope I’m proven wrong but watched the 3 ND kids multiple times last year and thought the Minot kid was the only one that had a chance at the D1 level. Maybe they’ve improved this summer but just didn’t think the athleticism was there for this level. Also I think treyson had an offer from Abilene Christian
I’m actually really excited for next years team IF Eaglestaff and Omot are as good as I think they’ll be. They’ll provide some much needed versatility that last years team lacked. Levias also fits in that mold so hopefully he can stay healthy and play. Add in Matthews who I think will take a huge leap forward next year and you have a pretty solid freshman/sophomore core. Hopefully Mitchell is coming back? Get Nero healthy and bring in a legit PG (prefer someone similar to Tyree ) and I think next years team will be very competitive and much more enjoyable to watch
Flashes of the ability toshoot and score? The guy shot 20% from the field and 14% from 3. He will have to nearly triple those percentages to get to a point where I’d say he can shoot and score. I really hope we bring in a high level transfer at the PG position. Can’t go into the season with what we have now
