Montana State leading 7-3 at half against Wyoming, not surprising
And... Wyoming gets the win.
Not surprising.

I read the story in the Herald, I see now it was first a piece on WDAY. So the ..... running to the Heraldo was not correct, good correction.
So who ran to the WDAY to publicize the garbled removal.
Either way the entire thing was fumbled worse than Biden on a broken teleprompter.
Exactly. That statue was like "blowing" $100,000 on Stormy Daniels.

That thing was kind of ugly, stupid and obviously hated by a segment of the UND community.
Still, I don't agree with encouraging vandalism. Except for the Vandals. They were badasses.

This type of thing was inevitable. Not a fan, but not up in arms over it either. Meh...

if you under the table offered the lammy sisters 1 million dollars each and no bringback of the team or zero money and the team comes back......i'm betting on them taking the money
And...what have you ever done in your life??
I guarantee you it's nothing remotely meaningful like they have.
Crawl back in your cave where you belong.

My order is:
1. SCSU...would be nice to see them finally get their first after so many quality teams over the years
2. MSUM...same as SCSU
3. UMass...I know that they're HEA, but I just don't want to hear it from the five UMD fans
4. UMD...yep, they have enough luck over the last couple title runs, it's time that their luck ran outIt would be kind of fun to see SCSU win it all while their ex-coach, going to what he thought was a dream job at Minnesota, gets to watch them hoist the trophy.
God, I hate the gophers.

Occasionally UND fans need a reminder of the legacy of success ...
1957-58
1962-63
1964-65
1966-67
1978-79
1979-80
1981-82
1986-87
1996-97
1997-98
1998-99
2000-01
2003-04
2008-09
2010-11
2014-15
2015-16
2019-20
2020-21What's that?
Regular season conference (WCHA or NCHC) championships.Closing thought:
Two NCAA titles (59, 00) came in years without a conference regular season title; the other six came with (63, 80, 82, 87, 97, 16)The conference titles were all in the best conference in college hockey.
I am actually pulling for SCSU to win it all this year, even though they are on my top 5 most hated college hockey team list. The reason: 4 different champions in 5 years from the NCHC would be pretty awesome.
But, as long as it isn't UMASS, I am fine.

Yah, and from what I hear, he loves his HS coaching gig and is paid handsomely for it. But to your point, he’d make a fun, interesting addition to the NCHC coaching fold!
He coached Valor Christian HS out of Highlands Ranch, CO to another state 5A title this year. They beat our Fort Collins High School Lambkins again.
What is worse. Being called the Lambkins or losing to the Lambkins?
BTW, I love Gwoz for sticking up for the Sioux nickname.

There is one game on the schedule. Just one. And it's must win.
Agree.
I do kind of feel sorry for AIC. Last time in Scheels they heard overwhelming cheers for them against SCSU.
It'll be very different this time.

Holy monkey wrench! If they weren't in already, this probably puts Denver in the tournament.
Love to see Denver knock off the goofs.

I see overconfidence from fans of both sides here.
Me, I am going to just wait and see if UND can have the breakthrough win over NDSU this season. it's going to happen at some time, hopefully this Saturday. If you made me bet my paycheck for even money, I'd put it on NDSU at home and with obvious recent tradition on their side.
Hope I am wrong.

What the heck is going on this year? Did NDSU and UND swap teams?

I'm a UND alumnus and I am very proud of Weatherby and Bernard-Docker. They have renewed my faith in UND as a place for thoughtful action on social justice issues. Actually, I am ecstatic. I hope there would be more expressions of principle from the student body, although I recognize from the responses I see on this forum they will, unfortunately, get very little support from North Dakotans.
My great x 5 grandfather fought in the American Revolutionary War under Washington. His son fought in the War of 1812. His son and grandson fought on the side of the Confederacy, although in ragtag outfits in what is now West Virginia.
Kneel away young men. I reject what the latter half of these ancestors of mine defended.
Kneel away. I'm proud of these young men also.

Read this for a more clear understanding of why these two young men took a knee. I'm proud of them and it doesn't take away from pride in our country.
