I doubt Canada will ever have to forfeit
I doubt it either. Why?
Because they seem to be following the protocols.
Nothing is guaranteed though.

That is pretty funny. Sounds like there are a lot of anti Canadians on this thread.
It is odd.
These players that tested positive are just like Carson Wentz. They don't give a sh#t about their team.

I came here for updates on the WJT, not a bunch of lunatic rants on COVID-19.
If there are cancellations based on the COVID-19 rules in place, so be it.

Best 5-6 team in the FCS. Odd that all FCS losses were by a touchdown or less. Hope they can build on this and come out strong next season.
ALSO. I dont know about the rest of you, but I think UND is due against NDSU. It is time.

kinda weird that the wokes are saying we need women's hockey back at UND so local girls can live their dream of playing at und yet idalski took every crappy fin, swede, or german he could find (if he was our coach now he would exclusively recruit chinese commys).....
I'm looking forward to the reinstatement of UND women's hockey that includes Chinese woke commies. That way I can watch your complete meltdown.
Have fun with that.

I read Rocco got released. If so, where will he end up?

The view of leaves falling off the trees.
The smell of freshly baked pumpkin bread.
The taste of hot apple cider.
The touch of a light frost on the grass.
The sound of the Vikings blowing yet another football game.
These are the familiar senses of Autumn.

Vikings hold serve wrapping up an awful sports weekend.....
At this point how can you not get rid of Zim? Tries to take back to back timeouts on defense???? Lost to a backup QB....again???
Heads gotta roll. Spielman too?
Cooper Rush had thrown the ball three times in an NFL regular season game up to this game. Three years on the bench and he was fortunate enough to get his opportunity against the Vikings. He hit the NFL Lottery tonight.

Another defeat snatched from the jaws of victory.
Doomed. They are a doomed franchise.

Kickers are often the difference between wins and losses. Look at our game last week. Look at the Vikings history. No matter what kicker we signed, he would have been discussed, as all football commits are, because UND hockey isn't the only program at UND with a fan base. If UND signs one of the best kickers in the country, that is indeed something to be excited about, because it matters, and wins and losses will eventually be decided by this recruit's foot. Turning good news into an opportunity to !@#$ on the football program only hurts. If more fans like you supported the football program instead of dismissing it, we could probably sell out the Alerus more, improve recruiting, and in-turn, improve the program. Good to know you're a
realisticband wagon Sioux fan, though. Why would I want to look at the Vikings history? They're a doomed franchise.

You're the worst type of "UND" fan.
You mean that I am a realistic UND fan.
We're in the best FCS conference. We should recruit well, at that level. A kicker would be happy to get over 50% of his attempts indoors. So, we landed a good kicker. That's fine.
Just nothing to be all giddy about.
-
Oh boy!
Once the 3 star skill position players see that we have a top 20 ranked kicker, all the pieces will fall into place!
Thank God it's hockey season.

This is probably the best 2-4 team in the FCS. With that said, the MVFC is pretty tough. Good to be in that conference because the payoff (eventually) is worth it.

I know that link is there but when I select it I get nothing. I only see schedules for 1998-2020.
Only true Sioux fans can see it.

Looking forward to watching the Bison play in the Alerus again. I watched the ‘03 game on TV, but was there for the first loss (‘01?). My only real memory from that game was a double move from a WR for a TD that gave you guys the lead right away. Lamar Gordon played as well and didn’t do squat either.
As far as how I think this one will go is not a unique take and everyone probably feels the same. These games are won/lost in the trenches. Who controls the line of scrimmage? NDSU is going to try and run the ball, no hiding that. Play action passing will open up if we’re successful running. Defensively we might be short a senior DE in Waege due to injury, but you know NDSU and their depth there and hopefully there’s not a noticeable drop off.
Like I said, looking forward to being up there in a hostile road environment…I’m not like another “Bison fan” we all seem to know around here. I still don’t like your football team and always want to see the Bison crush them. I hope you feel the same in return as it just makes things more fun and spirited for us fans. Grew up enjoying Bison vs UND week, awesome to have it back.
I just hope both teams have fun.

Not worried from a Attendance stand point, but am worried from a noise stand point. Our crowd waits til 3rd down to make noise, theirs is loud the whole time on defense. We need a passionate home crowd. Make it difficult on their offense during their whole time on offense.
I remember watching NDSU beat Colorado State at Hughes Stadium in Fort Collins. Say what you want, but their fans are a HUGE advantage, even on the road. Thats exactly what they did against CSU. Yelled like crazy when CSU had the ball and only cheered between plays when NDSU had the ball.
Plus, they drank all the beer in the stadium. Lol.

Doubt it, but I'm not up there. I would expect it will take a few visits, a few wins, and some crazy games to get the excitement level to where it used to be. UND is doing the right things with recruiting, conference affiliation, winning, playoffs BUT it is hard to overcome what NDSU has done over the past decade. Its a process, but it is on the right trajectory.
Great post.
I dont expect them to beat the Bison this year. But, I agree they are on track and making big gains for the near future.

Is it really??? Half of 45 million per year would be 22.5 million just for Boise St? With a number like that they would already been invited into the Big 12……
Boise is a relatively small media market. Big 12 made moves to get larger media markets. The strength of the Boise program wasn't that big of a factor.

Can Teddy Bridgewater kick field goals?
Nope. He just made sure they are in a position where they didn't have to rely on a field goal.
For a lot less money.
Don't feel bad though. It's the Vikings. That franchise has been doomed for years.

Teddy Bridgewater. 2 - 0. Didn't cost 100+ million dollars.

SEC just showcased why they are the dominant football conference. I just gave up rooting against them.
To me, it's hockey season. I'm done with college football til next year.
