You have to think Michigan will turn it around sometime. You'd think that last week was the turning point of their season, but then they continue faltering this week. Regardless, you'd think by the end of the year, they'll have righted the ship, and they'll be a higher TUC. Meanwhile, if OSU continues to play well, that will help us in the PWR later in the year!

We completely outplayed DU in the first period of that game too. If we could've kept play going that way, we would have already hung #8.

I think this has been our biggest problem throughout Hak's tenure at UND. Now, I think Hak does a great job with the team, and proved that his first 4 years. However, it seems like we're always looking for the perfect play on the PP. Just shoot the puck. It's not just this year.. I recall our final game against BC (J Toews last year) when we were on the PP and we just passed it around, though we were behind. If I remember correctly, Brian Lee finally scored with 11 seconds left, putting us within 1, but with only 11 seconds left, not much time left. PP goals, or any other goals for that matter, do not have to be pretty. Send the big guys, such as Malone, in front of the net to pick up the garbage. The crossing of pointmen on the PP does not impress me. Goals do!

And moving him up to a +19. And I, as well as others, thought he wouldn't perform as well as last year, with Lemaire coming in. Lemaire hasn't slowed down Parise a bit. Just made him more sound defensively. Zajac also gets an assist today, moving him to a +13, which is 4th best in the league.

Glad to see we found our offense in the 3rd. Need to have a good showing tomorrow. Show them the superiority of the WCHA, though the Gophers made sure not to do that tonight.

And Parise's even strength goal puts him at a +/- of 18, and tops in the NHL, at least for the moment.

Oshie just scored his 4th of the year, sending in a rocket to the peanut butter shelf, in tonight's Blues/Stars game.

That and they advertise "All North Dakota hockey games" as being televised on their hockey commercials, so it had better be on!!! We can all sue them for false advertisement!!!
