We're not clicking yet. At times we've looked flat-footed, where other times, we've looked like we've had our legs but couldn't do anything with the puck.

Hak pre-game comments: In Progress... A dump puck is not a giveaway. You have to get in there and get it. We need to make good decisions. Need to do things that have given us success. That's take care of the puck and do things that have worked for us. There's some thought process to the lines tonight, obviously. Vande and Malone have played well together. Toews has been one of our best offensive players this year. Hextall and Gregoire played well together last year. We don't have to change a lot but we need to increase the number of goals. It's a good rivalry. I think the game is played hard. Is there some bitter intesity...yes. But that's hockey. There's one reporter who wants to make a big deal out of this, and if that's his thing, that's okay. Chevrie, the fact that he's playing, he's ready. He was cleared fully by their doctors early Wednesday. He's been on the ice. He'll be ready. We've had some success with him in the past, but he's off to a great start this year. We just have to get pucks on him and do what we can.

I have a good feeling about tonight. I'll go with Sioux 4, DU 3.

Oh, the DU series. When we play the Gophers, I get excited. When we play DU, I just want to beat the snot out of them, on the scoreboard and on the ice.

Devils lose to the Predators tonight in the shootout, but if you get a chance, watch Zajac's shootout goal. Pretty amusing.

Parise continues his hot streak with a goal and an assist thus far tonight in the Devils/Predators game. Zajac with an assist thus far. EDIT: They take away the assist from Zach and give him the first goal as well, so he's got 2 goals thus far tonight, and looking for the hatty.

Yeah, I understand wanting your #1 goalie back in the action, by why rush him back if he's not ready? It's only November and there's a lot of hockey to be played. I know this is a big series for both schools, but hopefully they make the right decision, whatever that may be, for Chevrie, as his career is more important than this weekend.

Yeah. Langenbrunner fell right on Emery and started hitting him. Then Richards made his way to Langenbrunner. Thought they'd go, but nothing really happened. Langenbrunner showed the Devils frustration throughout the night, as the Flyers pretty much bottled up the Devils throughout the game. They were a step ahead of them all night.

Parise with a goal and an assist in tonights Devils/Flyers game. Zajac with an assist. Devils lose to end their road winning streak at 9, and their win streak at 8. EDIT: Looks like they took Zajac's assist away.

Unless we win Friday night...then we hope for the sweep!

This weekend will tell us a lot about our team this year. Coming off a tough series with SCSU to an even tougher series with DU. DU has rested for a week, though I'm not always convinced that's as beneificial when it happens earlier in the year, though DU had some guys who were pretty banged up, so they may have needed it. Will Genoway play? That will probably be the question all week, unless Hak answers it Wednesday night one way or the other. If he does play, is he at 100%? If he doesn't play, can this team play the kind of hockey they need to, in order to secure a victory? I'd say we need a split this weekend. A sweep isn't a must, nor do I expect it, going into their barn. Though I would welcome it. Let's get the win on Friday night, so I don't have to worry so much about Saturday's game!
