Not only that, what do you do come league tournament time? Where is it played? Michigan's going to try to get it, as would Wisconsin. If you're thinking about the revenue the annual tournament brings in for your city/state, why would Minnesota want to change that? They get the Final Five tournament every year, which boost MSP economy at least for a weekend.

I think it will be good for the team for Dell to start at least one game. I'm confident in Eidsness though, as I thought he played solid Friday night and okay on Saturday night. Definitely put himself out of position a few times, but I'm still confident that he'll be the number one goal all year long, barring any injury. With that said, I hate the Alaska trip. We always seem to struggle up there, and I don't think this weekend will be any different. Could be the lack of crowd, could be the massive amount of traveling, or it could be that Anchorage sucks the energy right out of us by their boring style of play!

That would take all the fun out of it though, which is most likely the number one thing to both these guys.

I'm not ashamed to say I support my team. No members of either team had anything to do with the incident. It is disappointing that this kind of crap happens in sports, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't only happen in Sioux/Gopher games. But it's sad when grown adults think they have to settle something like they're back in the school yard, rather than just realizing you support a rival team.

I didn't see it as a "D breakdown" throughout the entire game. The Gophers came with a lot more intensity tonight. Last night, the Sioux looked like studs, but it's because the Gophers looked so lousy. Tonight, the Gophers got their act together and played a tough game. A part of me is happy it turned out that way. Let the freshman know that the WCHA is a tough place to play, and you have to play every shift. Not saying freshman didn't play every shift, but it's something they need to see. The Gophers had all the momentum to put it away in the last 2 minutes, but that post on Eidsness side came in pretty damn handy! I'll take the tie.

Wow. Why can't fans just jeer one another in fun? It's a sporting event people. If you want to fight, join the military. Obama's looking to send some people to Afghanistan. Hope everything turns out for the best for the injured fan, whichever fan base he follows.

The way the last 2 minutes of the 3rd played out, I'm happy with the point. Thought the Sioux had the better OT period. Vande line did wake up a little, but overall, I'm pretty disappointed in that line this weekend. This is Minnesota boys! You show up!
