Though they haven't played well as of late, I wouldn't want to play Maine in the opening round of the NCAA. Bishop should be back, and with the way St. Cloud is playing as of late, I'll pick Maine (unless Bishop isn't playing).

I agree. Trolls do need to be eliminated, but other teams fans should be allowed to log on if they have something insightful to say. Just because they're not Sioux fans, doesn't mean they can't add to the discussion, or defend their teams. It seems obvious that they should realize they're visiting another teams' fan base, and should use tact when adding comments.

If the penalties would have continued in the 2nd and 3rd, like they were being called in the 1st, I would have been mad as heck too. However, I thought it evened out after the 1st, and the Goofs outplayed us for the most part. We were lucky to be in it going into OT.

There were two weak goals. Well, the last one was a fluke goal, still weak, but more fluke. I still can't believe Shepherd disallowed the Gopher goal. We've seen a lot worse interference than that get counted as goals throughout the year. I thought that should have been a goal, though I was thankful it was disallowed, however, if it happened to our team, I would have been extremely upset, as everyone else would have been. Yes, Lucia's stick did hit Lammy, but I didn't see it really interfering with him making the save, other than another body close to him to distract him.

Here we go with blaming Lee again. I thought the defense played fairly well all weekend. What happened? To be honest, I think the goofers outplayed us, winning all the little battle and even being more physical than we were. Wheeler had a heck of a weekend, and could have scored the last fluke goal against any defensemen; however, since it was Lee, the Lee bashers will resurface and say what a diservice he does to our team.

The first goal definitely. The 2nd goal, couldn't tell if Phil was blinded by his d-man or not. Gophers definitely took us off our game tonight, so a lot of credit has to go to them. I agree about the bracketing, but unfortunately, I don't know if the NCAA does. Don't want that all WCHA final again in the future. That's no good you know!

As a college hockey fan, it really was a great game to watch. With my green shades on, not so good!

All teams have classless fans, but the Goofs have some classy fans too.

Sioux fans just have to ignore the trolls. The majority of us know which Goof fans are regulars and don't think of you as idiots most of the time. The only fault you have is that you're a Goof fan!

Well, better to lose tonight than next weekend. Gophers played a good game, so I'll congratulate them on that. Where I would have liked to win, still not the number 1 trophy that I'd like to see our boys win. Need to go back to practice this week, and get ready for next week. Regardless of where we go, we just need to play hard fought Fighting Sioux Hockey. GO SIOUX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was there that year. We had Parise and Bochenski, and should have one. Nothing worse than having to sit in the Xcel full of goofer fans and listen to that stupid chant!!! That's the night I attacked Goldy!

With the way this one is playing out, I don't know if that's enough to go on.

Don't know if it's that or because of how tight the goofers are playing us. I have noticed we haven't been playing the body as well as yesterday.
