I'm assuming they're older and more experienced because of the players we lost last summer. If I remember correctly, when the two teams met, they were pretty much the same as far as age and experience went.

It will be interesting if we do play them again on olympic ice, as you mentioned in a different thread. Would be interesting to see if the Goofs can slow us up as much as they did last night, with the extra room to skate. However, the task at hand right now is Michigan, and if we don't win this game, we definitely won't be playing the Goofs until next season.

Have to say, the team that wins the West Regional definitely deserves to be in the Frozen Four, even if it is Air Force!!!!!

It will be interesting to see who Goofer fans want to win our game. I would expect them to say Michigan, as they have not playing the same level of hockey as we have been.

It is a lot easier regional than what we have, but I still wouldn't want to play Maine, regardless of their play as of late.

BC is not a darkhorse pick by any means. If you watched them this weekend, they are playing traditional BC hockey at the time of the year it counts. This is the one team that the only time I want to face them is in the finals.

It's tough because all he does is talk about Boston during the selection show, though he always gives props to North Dakota during the actual pre-games/intermissions.

Focus on Michigan, that's all we can do right now. We don't win there, we definitely won't be playing the other U of M.

The head guy, Clay Matvick picks whichever team comes out of the West.

It's a change. He's picked North Dakota the last two years. However, he is always big on the Boston teams.

You actually questioned it? How best to make sure 2 of the top 3 aren't in the Frozen Four than to put them in the same regional. Also, with DU and CC not in the tournament, why not send two WCHA powerhouses to a WCHA building?
