The three recruits we have now all are guards and Schiller appears to be true point guard at 5-7. Mathern and Volmer are guards but kind of inbetweeners in that they are about 5-10 to 5-11 and on high school listing Mathern is listed at 6 feet. If the roster doesn't change from this year will have Davis, Aumer, Cottingham, Beal, Owen, and Bass plus the 3 recruits at guards, Pemberton, Horne, Hoskin at the forward positions, and Vanderwal, Ibrahim, and Jardine at the center position.

I haven't seen Jardine on the bench is she hurt or is she not on the team, but she is still listed on the roster. Also, will Davis comeback for covid year. Otherwise, our is roster is full for next year unless we have some people leaving. Yes, Kacie has been playing a lot of minutes at point but just think if she was playing alongside Paige Myer of South Dakota State she would be scoring in high twenties and having much better looks at the rim than she is now. How we compete going forward with this team is pretty much baked we are what we are now. If we make a run in the Summit tournament it will be that we got hot shooting the basketball.

Jardine transferred to another school over Christmas.  It's Hoskins last year.  But you are right to many guards again. I don't think coach knows how to recruit or see talent

Looking ahead at the remaining 5 games of the season. What’s everybody’s thoughts? What’s our record over the final 5 games?

I wouldn’t be shocked if we go 1-4 with a win at home against USD. We do not have an easy schedule to end the season. Also wouldn’t be shocked at 3-2 with wins over DU, ORU, and USD.

Right now I'd be happy with 3-2 but I think more like 1-4.  Still gun shy from previous Sather teams that always let me down.

One thing I will say, Eli King is good. He’s not a P5 player, he might not even be a starter in the Summit but he’s a hell of a player off the bench and someone I look forward to developing the next couple of years.

He does all the little things. He gets some crazy steals and rebounds better then T. Now his 3 point shot is coming along. I really like the kid and he is fun to watch.

Just curious who you’d start him over? Go small and sit T? Or sit Eaglestaff? Trey is either on or just a complete L out there.

I would like to say for T but I do think Treyson coming off the bench might add a spark. But he needs some plays to set him up for some good shots.  I don't see any plays run for our team .  But T plays small for a big man might as start small.

Not the end of the world if it ends up being an L here but certainly disappointing.

I think it might actually be good to get a loss to get them focused on the end run and tourney

  6. I think this will be a good test game. Playing a team we should beat on the road.  In my opinion this will tell alot where our heads are at.  Are we going to overlook a bad USD team hungry for a win looking towards Saturday?  I hope this team has matured and we take care of business tonight!

  7. I stopped going to the games in person and it's so hard to watch them on TV. They don't look like a team. I have never seen a player play worse defense then Hurst.  NDSU beat this team by 30 plus. Next weekend should be fun

  8. Good win for the boys!  Fun game to be at. I saw some the old Brady of past. Alot of room for improvement but a good step in the right direction .  Still think T is to soft.   Good student section but terrible location for them and our cheerleaders all need to be replaced.  Bring on Denver !  And yes the dogs were tiny!

Brady could have a perfect game besides one mistake and people would rip him apart for that. He has certainly not played well this year though.

I have always been a Brady D fan but this year with the athlete's we have his play time needs to limited.  He is not getting those offensive rebounds and charges like in years past. Which is why I loved him.  Without out that his shooting sucks and so does his defense.
