Thanks for the advice. Just signed up!! Side note: Since games are webcast I recentely found out I can connect my LapTop to my big screen and wacth the games on the TV instead of my LapTop. Picture quaility was ok. But this gives me another reason to convince my wife we need a Hi-def TV for next season.

I agree 110%. I now in the Twin cities and everyone I work with has been saying: "they do not want to play the Sioux" If they do and lose it does't matter and when they found out the Goofers were play SCSU they said if we loose it doesn't matter becasue we (The Goofers) are going to the NCAA and they'er not. One other thing the Goofers are living up to what most high progile Minnestoa Teams do..... CHOKE. Look at the T-Wolves, the Wild ( I do like the Wild) The Twins( I do like the Twins) the ViQueens, the Goofer Basketball Teams, the Gopher Football Team.

I use it for scores and stats mostly as well. I think about a year ago they teamed up with CSTV which is owned by CBS. Hence all the other sports being added. One nice thing I noticed if you go to www.cstv.com and client on What is CSTV? a video comes up and there is a scene of the mighty SIOUX Fans. NCAA Champs 1959 1963 1980 1982 1987 1997 2000 2006 ?

Anyone know if FOX FSN willl be picking up the game? Also which Sensors in the Twin Cites is the best to watch the game at? The Sioux should win by 3 or more!!

I was wondering if anyone has purchsed the Satellite Dish to get Sioux hockey games? I was wondering how much they cost? Where can you get them? Is there an annual fee? I live in Minneapolis area and can't make it back home as often as I would like to see the games at The Ralph.

I e-mailed my local Charter Cable and the following is the response I got. They will have the Friday Sioux game but not Saturday. We will be showing games on Channel 65 in your area. Fox Sports Digital North is not available in your area. Fri Mar 26th: 6:30 PM: West Regional: North Dakota vs. Holy Cross

Are the tickets for all games or individual games? I would be interested in Saturday Night as long as the Sioux are playing.

The Star Trib sucks. I grew up in GF and we used to get beat by Roseau and Warroad all the time. I now live in Albertvill, just south east of Monticello. My son won't be playing hocky for 4 more years but we are moving to Plymouth/Wayzata so he cen get in a good program. Plus Monticello is a bunch of hicks.

Just got back from Grand Forks after watching the Sioux take home the WCHA championship. I picked up the Star Trib and the headline of the Sports seciton is "SENIORS LEAVE ON A HIGH NOTE" that is the Senior Basketball players. The Gopher hockey team ahad a small story on the front page about Ryan Potulny ( Grand Forks NAtive) coming back after a knee injury to play with brother Grant in the Play-offs. Minnesto maybe the "State of Hockey" for playing and produing great players but as far as media coverage it is the state of confuision. This the Year we take back what is ours and that is the NCAA Crown.

Since the Sioux will finish in FIRST PLACE. They will play the winner of the Thursday game. Which will most likely be Denver over the Goofers. I belive in the past the First place Team has played the afternoon game. This is done to allow them the easiest route to the championship by playing a tired play in team winner from Thursday nights game. Of course if the Goofers do make it to the Final 5 and they do win the play in game they would get to play the night game. This would happen becasue they are the Goofers and they seem to make the rules in the WCHA. I of course don't agree with it but that seems to be how it is. After all Minnesota is the " State of hockey". That being said it is funny, I have lived in the Twin Cities since 1992 and the NEWS Papers and TV Sports shows hardly ever mention hockey. Basketball, Baseball and Football all dominate the airwaves but not much on hockey. Alos to get any info on college hocky one must use the internet. If the Goofers loose the story is burried in the back of the sports section. If they win it is front page. Very very odd. The Grand Forks Herald covers more hockey on a weekday than the Minneapolis Star Tribune does in a week. The other oddity is I find myself starting to like Doug Woog. He seems to defend the Sioux when the games were on FSN now that he isn;t coaching. Very odd.
