Although off topic, I will add my opinion. (maybe we could get a thread split "Old Ralph vs New Ralph") I believe the Old Ralph is romanticized a bit too much by some fans. I spent many many years going to games there, it was a very basic "earthy" building, but had an awesome environment...when UND was winning. The new Ralph has built itself to about equal with the old building for home ice advantage in this fan's opinion. Sure, you get the people who are there just to be seen, but that is going to happen with any large nice venue anywhere in the country. Try going to a Lakers game...

At least we have football... Kidding, but only sort of. Need something to happen on a playing surface instead of this crap. Pumped for this weekend's game!

What about the lit up logos on the outside? I could see those replaced with a nice lit up interlocking ND, but they weren't specifically addressed in the Herald article.

Perhaps they will beat NDSU, they might be getting them at a good time, NDSU has played nobodies and is fat and happy, UNI has been through the grinder, NDSU won't seem so big bad and scary to them...

I have no idea what to expect in this game by the way...but I am thinking our D handles the triple option well enough, and we come out with a win. I believe Hanson and Hendrickson will play in this one, maybe Muss will go with the hot hand after they both play a few series.

You know what I forgot about that! I think I had blocked it out. We nearly won that game with some of the worst numbers a QB could have at this level last year. Can't wait to get in the Al and start hassling Cal Poly!

I watched College Gameday today as well, saw students in war paint, pictures of dudes in suits with warpaint and feathers painted on by the fans. Saw a picture of Zach Galifinakis with an arrow through his head. Gave me a pit in the stomach, thinking of how UND respected the name, and FSU and their fans make a mockery of it. BUT, the Seminole tribe says it is okay.....

Makes it sound like a minor league baseball league. Yes, thankful we are in the Big Sky .
