I agree that he has struggled(part of which is due to no protection on the O line at times). Danny has been great for the program and I greatly thank him for his time as a Fighting Sioux, but I agree, give Landry a few series to "taste" what it is like at a higher level.

I agree with all of this. Basically, both of our teams are sucking pretty bad right now, neither fanbase can give the other crap at this point. Southern Utah fans and Youngstown State fans can give us crap.

How in the world can a bison fan come here and talk smack? Your team is very very mediocre, and you are years ahead of us in the transition! Neither of our teams will make the playoffs this year, that is all that matters.

Watching the South Dakota State game. It is 25 degrees, 12 with the wind chill, field has snow piled up on the sides. This is very reminiscent of old Memorial Stadium. SDSU is up 38-14 at the half over Illinois State. Do any of you miss this type of outdoor game? I dream of a retractable roof stadium for us in the not to distant future so we can have outdoor games when it is nice, but close the roof when it gets nasty.

Last game of the year, this is like our "playoff" game at home this year. I hope folks make it to the Al and are LOUD!

I love the night games, but agree a few afternoon games are nice. When the hockey team isn't in town, I say have night football games.

I will be there! Looking forward to the game because it is a night game and it is against a Southern Utah team that is improved. Remember, this is the final home game of the year.

Prepare to get jumped on dude...I tried that argument earlier. Our D just doesn't have the horses yet. They have the effort, but simply don't have enough athletes with speed and height to keep up at this level. That will change. We will be fine!

What about the defense's performance in the 2nd half? Come on Sioux fans, don't jump ship! This is our transition year, things will improve, we are not Northern Colorado.

Davis is a good team, still have a chance at the FCS playoffs.

I should add...we are essentially a Division II team. UC Davis has what, 5 years on us? I think the boys had a decent performance tonight, it was a 10 point deficit, we had a great 9 minute drive where we stuck with the run, but we didn't get points. That was the gamechanging drive. Add the drop by Nicholas in the endzone later on, then the missed FG...we had chances, it just wasn't in the cards tonight.

Like I said, not sure why I am not more pissed...probably because this doesn't blow a playoff shot for us.

Losses suck, but for some odd reason, I'm not that upset about this one...

We'll look back on that 9 minute drive for the Sioux where we got no points in the 2nd half. Changed the game, no longer could we run Murray, forced to the shotgun and basically desperation.
