I agree, things have to change, we have a top notch facility, we need top notch management on the music and entertainment side. Bring in a consultant from an NHL, NFL or NBA team.

I agree standing makes no noise. If the students are allowed to stand, there is no "us versus them" mentality, they are likely to be more loud about the game, not feeling bad about yelling and standing and getting in everyones way. They can truly "run wild" in their own section. Instead of complaining about the old fart or security guy who told them to sit down, they can talk about that great save Eidsness made and how they should start the "goalie-sieve" chant. Conversely, the "old farts" will not complain about the students standing, they will be more likely to focus on the game. Everyone will be happy and on the same team if the students move to their own section.

Looker is a minor problem, if one at all. Here is the solution to start mending the atmosphere: MOVE THE STUDENT SECTIONS TO BEHIND THE NET! PUT THEM ON THE END THE SIOUX SHOOT AT TWICE TO GET ON THE OPPOSING GOALIE. Students can stand and dance and do whatever for the entire game. There will no longer be an us vs. them mentality after they are told to sit down. Someone needs to make this happen, look at UW and UMN for 2 prime examples. Until this happens, the atmosphere will remain not so good.

My best to summarize Hak's comments: Hak says sioux looked comfortable, which is not good. Shouldn't take til the last 2 minutes to put forth effort. Veteran team should be better Mentality has to change tomorrow, have to hate to lose, better be motivated, if they aren't motivated by this, Hak doesn't know what will Lucky bounce on a goal, bad play on another. Sioux missed 4 empty nets when it was still 1-0 Best chances didn't get on goal Tomorrow night on mixing things up: no decisions yet, step back and look at what gives best chance of winning.

Tim H. says this is the longest "by a longshot" that Hak has talked to the team after the game. I use the term "talk" loosely.

I'd keep it for awhile, rewatch that first period and checkout the missed opportunities, then watch the UAA trap KILL US. Then, watch the 2 goals by the Sioux, and delete the game and wash your hands...actually, take a shower.
