Wheeler is doing quite well in the "Show" this year also, something nobody would have predicted based on his play at the UMN-TC. Something is wrong down there in regards to development. It is odd that a team starts off so well year after year, but tanks as the season goes on.

It's late at night, but I believe if the Sioux sweep, they will be in 1st place by a point, or out of 1st by a point as UW is off and Denver plays only 1 game (what is that about) against CC. The following weekend, DU plays UW. SIOUX SWEEP!

Even though a split may have helped us in the standings, I'm not upset either. Like I have said, they are a sinking ship right now, I'm not counting them out yet though. As long as our favorite team wins, we will be good.

Denver with a cheap 2 handed slash at the final horn, Duluth PISSED! Duluth wins 4-2. Duluth announcers think they will send the tape into the league. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Coach Sandelin is pissed! The DU player basically skates off the ice next to Sandelin, apologizing, Coach didn't want anything to do with him. The Duluth announcers say to the DU player: "Just get off the ice!". Classic!

Flipping between the Duluth and the UMN Badger games, man, that environment at Mariucci is not even close to a Sioux v Gophers series.

This is a great post. It really does summarize what I have experienced. I agree, it is not the gopher fans' fault, they really have been brainwashed to a certain extent. I show my gopher buddy youtube footage, stats, etc, and it still doesn't work. The same issues come up: 26 year old canadian thugs, penalties, dirty hits, "you live in a hillbilly state with nothing and it is flat".
