The majority of people on here will react negatively towards student comments, as Blackheart and mksioux did. So it is anything but a great place for students to voice their opinion. Maybe if more people like yourself spoke up about hearing the student perspective, it would be a more comfortable environment. However, others lack some respect.

All students: PLEASE stop writing about anything regarding tickets on this forum. This board will not be supportive, thus it will end up being counterproductive. So please never mention anything regarding students and tickets in the same sentence. I am a student, so it isn't that I don't agree with any comments, but I cannot enjoy this board with the fighting that the comments always bring. Please follow this advice and everything will be better.

As previously mentioned, hockey is a lot faster than football. White (e.g., the ice or jerseys) also tends to show more pq problems as well.
-
So if you go to the hockey game, you can't try out this service because you need to see it live. I know everyone got all excited before, but there is clearly no attempt to give any help to people that already give their money to see all of the home games. Before anyone says it, "Don't buy it then." OK, that is obviously what is for the best and what I will do.

Thank you for the information.

I received the Alumni News today, but have not seen the magazine.

Hey, I love what Uncle Ralph has given UND and GF. However, he needed to build a casino or something to make sure the GF economy could support the arena. That is also my point with REA trying to make money in other forms. They can get it from people outside of GF, but they should not try to charge people twice for something.
-
I find nothing wrong with the ticket prices. However, the new REA has definitely been after money. They take the poll on their site and are now offering all these things so they can make money. You would think the place was going broke with everything they are trying to do. And wanting $20 for a water park? This town doesn't have the money to support that. There were empty seats in REA last year, and I predict that it will get worse as time goes on.
-
I received my answer. There will NOT be an "away package" for season ticket holders. To make a long story short, they want as much money as possible and do not care if you already pay for tickets. To be fair people with cable would probably only get the "away package" as well, but it is something that could easily be verified with season ticket holders. So, I refuse to give them any more money for the service. It is all about the bling bling.
-
That isn't fair. I e-mailed him about the away game package and he didn't respond to me. He had no problem saying no to you.
-
You don't know how to read what is posted or go to the link? It is $8.95 for one game. They now have the "hockey only" package back up for $99.99. Now if they only put the "away game" package up for the season ticket holders.

It would be interesting to see if the picture quality is improved. Even if it cannot be the full page, I would like to see it on a big screen TV. I know there are people that hook up their PC's to projection TV's. I would assume that would be wanted so people don't have to huddle around a computer monitor. It would be nice to split the costs too since it might be up to $500 by the time the season starts. BTW, I think it is weird that there is a concern about advertising when you are already paying for the game.
-
I think the quality is definitely lacking. When I went to the link it was $150, not $100. It says there are single games and two packages, but I only see one. I would think a package for just away games would be needed. I suppose more information will be out in a few weeks.

In years past you could not give your student ticket to a non-student. To get in with a student ticket, you need to have an ID. It could change this year with reserved seating.

I can see the Gopher fans' signs already.

Corner or end, whatever. I like to be on the side, so anything from the slot and back is the end to me. I liked the Pit Crew seats back then and I enjoy the seats where they are at now. I have to admit, I would would probably like the entire end like the Kohl Center in Madison, but that is not possible with REA. It really appears like there was no thought about the students standing when it was designed. You are supposed to think outside the box!
-
I am not looking to start a fight, but students could sit behind the opposing goalie for two periods at the old REA. Maybe Derrick wants to sit in the net so his voice can be heard.
-
I also hope that everyone on this board figured out the password so that they could get good seats. They may still have good ones, but I wanted to help out. I know people argue and disagree about different things, but I like when Fighting Sioux fans stick together. It is great when you are at away games because Sioux fans are always sticking together and really nice. It is too bad it isn't like that at home games. Oh well, I hope everyone has a good weekend.
-
I know where I like to sit in section 108, so I tried to get the same seats in 109, which is the same with the home team shooting twice if it is the same as last year. I watched the seats get up to row G, but I wanted row I (although I'm not sure if that is the row or not). I manipulated the Ticketmaster system so that I could get the exact seats I wanted. It was kind of a pain, but it will be worth it if I guessed the correct row.

I don't like the idea. I would be more interested in actually regulating the size of goalie equipment (bigger doesn't mean more safety) or the bigger ice surface. I don't like the olympic ice in college, but for the bigger players in the NHL it could be good. With new sticks adding 10 mph, I don't think the net needs to be bigger. Players, especially here, need to work on accuracy.
-
I did my best, but I can't help you out with that. With how few tickets appear to have been sold, it seems like people are having problems getting the password.
-
Airmail figured it out. You are a baseball fan, so you must know how to go down the batting order.
-
I want to get tickets a few rows higher than were they are selling them now, but nobody seems to be buying tickets today. I would think there are some people on here that like lower seats.
-
well, i wrote to them asking who was eligible for the password and they let me know the password, but I don't know who is supposed to have it. I don't know if it is only for season ticket holders or what. all i know is i don't want to get into trouble for spreading it, so I'm not going to directly tell anyone, but it isn't my fault if you figure it out.

I see the pre-sale is going on now and I was wondering what kind of tickets people have been getting. I am curious what kind of tickets will be still available on Saturday.
