Pete What's wrong with the old way?? I swing my dish between G3, G11, & AMC9. Got little marks on the back of the post for each one. Thank god I can get to my dish. Just stand on the stepladder, and look into the house. Have a little TV at an angle to see signal quality.

Here is an update from the above link AMC9 TP 5 Downlink Frequency- 11791.75, FEC 3/4, Mpg profile- 420 QPSK Pete, I have never seen the Mpg profile......what the heck is that?
-
Pete There isnt anything usually on AMC9 (85) thats digital. Try to get Montana PBS on AMC3 (87) at 12085 H 4340 SR. If you get that, you need to move the dish to the left (if your behind it) maybe 1/8" and you'll hit AMC9
-
Unless they publish the frequency & symbol rate, it wont come in I have a feeling it will be analog...Last Saturday I was watching some small school college basketball game on AMC9 TP5
-
yep Bought an old Toshiba C/KU band receiver about a month ago for the college b-ball "feeds" on different satelites
-
I am assuming when you say "posted above" you're talking about the coordinates on theralph.com (AMC9 TP 5)
-
I find it interesting that in the release they say its a digital broadcast. AMC9 TP5 is an analog signal (at least it was last week when I was watching a college basketball game) and can be picked up with an old C/KU band receiver (not the type of receiver that FSSN uses). But in any way, they changed it off of SBS6 TP5 and onto AMC9 TP5

It'll be a split UND Friday UMD Saturday
-
For sure the Saturday game is on WDAZ If the game is normally on Midco cable, then it is also on FSSN (the home games) I dont think its on Midcontinent cable (23), and therefore, not on FSSN. I would still set the VCR....whats the worst thing that can happen....3+ hours of "No Signal" on your screen. Thats what my receiver would say
-
the game starts at 7 its old...again, the original tv schedule (at the beginning of the season) had this game on tv...then got yanked. In another post, Sweeney said Friday's game is not televised on WDAZ
-
The Fighting Sioux Satellite Network (FSSN) is another way for Sioux fans to see the games, and who dont live in the GF area. The home games that are on cable are also broadcast via satellite (KU Band, which is different than Dish or Direct). Same game, same feed as the cable people see. You buy the equipment and there is no add'l fees. You only can see the games and the Sioux Illustrated show. Here is more info on the satellite http://siouxsports.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1583

Originally, the game was to be televised (this was at the begining of the season) Then it got pulled...but still shows up in TV guide & zap2it I dont think it will be on
-
I would contact WDAZ, since arent they the one who produces it to begin with Erick The feed listed (SBS6 TP5) is what they would send from Duluth to Grand Forks (since the game is in Duluth). It would probably be the live feed (live as in you dont see commercials). Anyone with an old Analog C-band receiver can pick it up. The didgital ones (like the FSSN) cannot view this off SBS6. WDAZ would catch that feed and put it on their station..If they can get it sent out to G3 (FSSN) that would be awesome!
-
from one of the other topics I know that SBS6 TP 5 is usually analog...so they shouild (key word is should) be able to get Saturdays game. I think alot of us are hoping it will be on FSSN on Friday
-
MafiaMan I live in suburban Mpls, so I am fully aware what's on the local cable/satellite. Joe Sensers in Mpls said they were probably going to get Saturday's game..It isnt on FSSN..Its on a different feed. Friday's game is anybody's guess as to if its on FSSN or not
-
how many topics to we need? here are some of the same thing http://siouxsports.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2116 http://siouxsports.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2114 http://siouxsports.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2107

its under WDAZ local programming
-
Rogers & Zimmerman are 2 new schools (broken off from Elk River) so their team probably isnt good.
-
it is listed on the WDAZ website
-
so the Friday game is on FSSN??
-
According to lyngsat, it is an analog signal on SBS6-5 11823 Horizontal So you should be able to get it
-
have to listen to it on Friday (cant get a god damn ticket) Will be there Saturday cheering on the Bulldogs!!
