  1. Too bad NBC Duluth pulled their translator station from Aitkin because we could get NBC crystal clear on the antenna. Now all we get is CBS & PBS on the antenna Thank goodness for satellite (we have Dish at the lake). Might have to take the FTA box with me up there and find the feed
  2. zap2it shows Wild game on Saturday
  3. I'll be at the lake so I have to fight my dad over the remote He'll want to watch NASCAR...I want the game
  4. according to http://www.uschtv.com/uschtv/ it shows FCS Central (Fox College Sports Central).. there are 3 (Atlantic, Central, Pacific)
  5. yes they do. Its on the Alternate channels (since they dont carry it full time) channels 444-450...dont know which one but its usually 446 or 447
  6. cool. 73 quality sounds about right. I know Pete (PSB) said he was at a 75 quality on his TRaxis. (he has a 1m dish) would love to see pictures I honestly don't know. I don't have a Traxis. You might want to e-mail PSB about it. He should know (he has a Traxis) I set my DVD recorder/Hard Drive to turn on at 6:58 and left the box on when I left to go to my mom's. Came home and its recording
  7. cool sometimes just a fresh scan will do the trick Glad you got the game (with sound this time)
  8. feed is up and its a NEW BEGINNING!! and new songs edit: its the same 1 minute or so loop BRING BACK THE OLD SONGS!!!
  9. Once the signal comes up (they literally flip a switch to turn the transmitter on) you will have signal quality. You still have to scan in the channel which logs (I think) as
  10. blackheart Sioux are on audio 1 left channel only. Make sure the volume on your receiver is all the way up (some boxes will reset to very minimal if unplugged for a while or factory reset) When the screen comes up, the songs are still there so you should be able to test the audio then
  11. the right channel is for the affiliates and the "test tones"
  12. the symbol rate for the Montana game was 6148 and the FSSN is 4880 so you would have either had to do a blind scan (like you did) or manually change the symbol rate in the transponder setup he didnt do the exact one this year but said "The Sioux take on the Bisons.......the Manitoba Bisons"
  13. working fine since 4:30 CDT left only audio
  14. 75-76 on the Pansat so nice strong signal
  15. FEED IS UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nice strong 73 here on the Coolsat
  16. 18" is too small. It won't pick that up Need at least a 30" dish. Gigiwave? You mean Digiwave?
  17. so the dish isnt aimed yet? What equipment do you have besides the Coolsat 5000 (dish size, LNB, etc)
  18. nope. Looks fine As long as you are aimed at the satellite, about 15 minutes before game time if you bring up that transponder, the bars at the bottom will be green (shall we say Sioux green) instead of red Then you can scan it in. (do a manual scan)
  19. correct now Yep. Its GAME DAY
  20. Now maybe I didnt notice it until now but as of 11:57PM it says 0 days 15:09 til puck drops um, that puts it at 3:07....puck dont drop until 5:07
  21. yes you have the correct info but as noted abve the feed wont come up until about 15 minutes before game time
  22. got the new dish all set We upgraded this year (and yes the deck needs to be painted) Picture of Dish another picture of dish
  23. mine is all set to go
  24. dang. Wish GF was closer (I think its a 6 hour drive from Gooferland) its a bigger dish so its possible. Pete (PSB) had a dish mounted ot the trailer hitch of his truck when he was at work (he works in satellite)
