  1. I thought we were talking about tomek. My mistake
  2. Lovin gornalls puck placement. I think he will be sticking in the lineup for awhile
  3. Whoops I thought you were talking about Tomek haha. Yes I totally agree about boeser being a non factor recently. And tonight his legs seem to be there but no production as of yet. Hopefully soon!
  4. He has had his shots and hasn't capitalized on any of them. NHL draft picking order doesn't embed a player's skill level for the rest of his career. Walk on playing better than a 1st rounder??...play the walk on, pretty simple.
  5. Well maybe it was extremely obvious it wasn't his night. Getting beat straight up like that is unacceptable
  6. I still don't understand how people can defend wolanin after I rip on him. He's an absolutely miserable defenseman.
  7. Correct. Chemistry, coaching, puck luck and momentum go a long ways. Hockey is a crazy game
  8. Has Parise ran out of steam or what? He's making Jagr seem like a yougin.
  9. I hope we find a few productive 4 year goal scorers in the coming years. Guys that aren't heavily sought after for "the show" due to size or some other reason but are very effective at the college level. Guys like Duncan and even Cags. Maybe even a guy like Ortega that isn't a D-bag would be nice. I wonder if Ortega was a 4 year guy because of his size or because everyone else hates him too.
  10. Pogo has stepped up in the games where we have been short handed but Gardner has not. I'd like to see something out of him other than penalties this weekend. Ger-stiches has been gliding high on a parallell path through all the ups and downs of the season. I'd rather have him playing than Jost or Boeser at this moment.
  11. I was pleasantly surprised by Gornall as well. He didn't seem as hesitant or as eager to give the puck to a teammate like he has in the past. He controlled the puck, made smart decisions, pushed the neutral zone, fore-checked harder and smarter than a lot of other players last Saturday. I'd like to see some more of him!
  12. I agree with you on Boeser having some sort of nagging lower body injury as well because something seems off. Sure Cags and Schmaltz are going to give you tons of scoring opportunities but I remember during the second half of the season last year, Boeser was creating so many scoring chances and scoring on most of them all by himself on top of what his linees were contributing. As a goal scorer and flowing playmaker he looked to me as a half step ahead of Cags and Schmaltz most games towards the end. At the beginning of the season this year we were seeing that player picking up right where he left off...then he disappeared and still hasn't returned.
  13. It just blows me away that a natural goal scorer like Wilkie has not even scored a single goal this season.
  14. Why would wolanin leave?? To play jr Bs in Minnesota? Lawlz
  15. Looks like Davies nabbed the #3 spot then unless they crap the bed
  16. Nope. I don't see much changing from here on out really.
  17. East 1. GFC 2. RR 3.Davies 3.(tied) DL 5. South HUGE GAP 6. North 7. Grafton (toss up) 8. West Fargo (toss up) West 1. Bismarck High 2. Minot (toss up) 3. Century (toss up) 4. Dickinson 5. Jamestown 6. Mandan 7. Williston 8. Bott 9. JV teams 10. Bad JV teams 11. HB
  18. I made my own rankings but ndhighschoolhockey.com has stats, results, rankings and standings
  19. Looks like some pretty good games tonight. South vs Davies will be a big one in determining seating for EDC. DL vs RR should be pretty competitive but RR sure seems to have things together finally, so I don't see them dropping this one, even on the road. Then Century vs Dickinson, again it should be competitive but I don't see Century dropping this one.
