he may not be ready for the nhl but the thought is that many of these players will develop even faster if they get into the ahl system. this doesn't suprise me at all but its the way it goes. i say we lose smaby for sure and stafford and zajac are strong possibilities.does it suck?? yes, but that means we get some damn good players and this is the new age with the new nhl agreement. lets let it play out and see what happens.

1st off, how old are you....seem like a youngen are you serious?? if so then yes its decided by the pairwise rankings which calculate how the teams get seeded in the tourney using the whole entire season. ill leave it at that since explaining it will only cause confusion.

rushmore, i hear ya on your analysis. if i was a gophs fan (thank fricken god im not) i would have a huge problem with my team laying down vs the badgers like a 2 dollar hooker. like you said you would rather have a little momentum even if it was the MEANINGLESS 3rd place game that your coach and players quit on before the puck was even dropped but oh well right... michigan will not be a easy game by any means, for those who think its in the bag already better check theirselves. do i think we will win?? yes i do but not like i think the gophers will roll over holy cross. maybe the results will be switched with the sioux getting a nice victory while the gophs overlook holy cross and end up with a competitive game. probably not going to happen though. the sioux and wolverines have top notch talent all over the ice. the X factor is jpar who is 13-4 in postseason games in his career and i believe he is the top goaile in the tourney right now. we all know you need a hot goiale and i feel jpar is on his game. zach has done nothing but up his draft stock by the way he is playing this year. if he can combine his EDGE with similar skills of his brother then we are in for a hell of a d man for the years to come. he is a fun player to watch and he can snap like i have never seen. i love it as long as he knows when to snap and when not to another note....matt was interviewed between periods in chicago and talked about the sioux and his brother playing. he mentioned he watched the game vs st cloud in chicago and was pretty excited for the sioux and zach. i guess he has 1 more brother that plays in illinois. i know hes younger but not sure how young. keep them coming!!!

honestly it doesnt matter one bit. the last time we played them we beat them but that was about 4 years ago. new year, new team and lets hope we can get off to a good start and get the 1st goal of the game.
