  5. hockey futures new jersey devils prospect rankings http://hockeysfuture.com/article.php?sid=8979 2. (+2) Travis Zajac, C, 7.5 C Acquired: 1st round, 20th overall, 2004 NHL Draft Zajac started his sophomore season in North Dakota with the Fighting Sioux somewhat slowly, but turned things around mid-season and down the stretch for what has to be considered a great second year in the NCAA. Zajac lead North Dakota in assists with 27 and finished third in team scoring with 44 points behind Drew Stafford (BUF) and T.J. Oshie (STL). At the end of the season, he signed with the Devils and reported to Albany where he suited up for six games, scoring a goal and an assist. Strong at both ends of the rink, Zajac contributes in all facets of the game and often does the little things that don

  10. vande velde will be a very nice player for the sioux, he wasn't drafted that high for no reason. i think he may be a important part of our success with all the key departures...he will be in the lineup every single game.....bishop and miller should battle for one of the last forward spots and i guess we will have to wait to see how everything shakes out
  11. i think brady will be in the nhl someday, depends if the money is better. he was the rookie of the year and had a hell of a season..just to bad he did get hurt, one of those players you sit back and say (WHAT IF) because the kid can flat out play in my eyes

(2) Brian Lee, D, 8.0C Acquired: 1st round, 9th overall, 2005 With the moves made by John Muckler over the summer, the Senators seem to have focussed their blueline strategy on mobility and transition ability, illustrated by the re-signing of Wade Redden and not Zdeno Chara, and the acquisitions of Joe Corvo and Tom Preissing. Perhaps the selection of Brian Lee, if not Andrej Meszaros the year before, should have been taken as a hint to how the organization would build its blueline in the

  17. i know they may lean towards a defensive minded coach but i say hire tony hrkac...just throwing it out there, didn't he do some sort of coaching with milwaukee last year or maybe not milwaukee but somewhere i believe..... found a little bit Hrkac retired from professional hockey after the 2004-05 season, most recently playing for the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League. This year, he's a coaching assistant for the Admirals. http://www.zoominfo.com/directory/Hrkac_Tony_388270173.htm IN HRKAC CIRCUS I TRUST
  18. oh yeahhhhhhh http://www.theahl.com/AHL/News/2006/08/01/1713462.html The Houston Aeros have signed goaltender Tony Quesada to a contract for the 2006-07 season, the team announced Monday.Quesada, 23, comes off four standout seasons at the College of the Holy Cross, including a 22-6-2 (2.30 GAA) campaign in 2005-06. Quesada helped the Crusaders to arguably the biggest upset in NCAA tournament history last spring, making 35 saves in a 4-3 overtime win over the University of Minnesota. The Crusaders became the first No. 4 seed to ever take out a top seed, and it was the school's first-ever NCAA tournament victory.

  22. http://hockeysfuture.com/article.php?sid=8976 kozek #16 forney #18 (other notables) kaip 16. Andrew Kozek, RW 53rd overall, 2005 Entry Draft Kozek possesses a lot of raw talent, but the scoring prowess he displayed in the BCHL in his draft year has not yet translated to the college level. Last year he had just 13 points in 45 games for the University of North Dakota. The challenge for him will be to turn the talent into production, first in the NCAA, and then professionally. The 20-year-old winger will be a sophomore at UND this season. Having seen low amounts of ice time last year, he should get more opportunity going forward. 18. Michael Forney, LW 80th overall, 2006 Entry Draft Forney was a high-risk, high-reward selection. It
