there are many players and good goalies that would come to UND and push for a job. that wont be a problem. UND doesnt give FULL scholarships as no team really does 100% but i get your drift. if harrington is considered a 3rd then yes they will bring in a back up and a solid one at that but if harrington is considered a guy to be a 2nd stringer than you go get a walk on type. i have no clue on harrington because they realistically have two 3rd stringers/back ups on the team right now behind BE

the radio and webcasts never sync as many know. its tough to get them to sync but i dotn care whos calling the game as long as we get video which we do. sioux sweep 3-1 4-2
-
ill guess and say they brought 1 d man and 1 forward and i think maybe davidson went as that forward. who knows though with having miller as a hybrid who hak brings along extra

these polls mean nothing. the pairwise is all that matters and we changed our at large bid chances greatly with that azz whipping at the ralph. went from 24 to 17/18 which is a big jump. if we would have lost saturday we would have been out of the top 25 in the pairwise so those were so big. sweep this weekend and then that DU series at home is big time!! as it already will be in the wcha standings outlook.

per brad, seems good for cichy - wonder if he still gets to be a all star?? as he was voted in with tri city. Cichy traded to Indiana Sioux recruit Mike Cichy went from the worst team in the USHL to the best. The Indiana Ice sent their first-round pick in the 2009 draft to Tri-City in exchange for Cichy. Cichy was Tri-City's captain and leading scorer with 29 points in 26 games. The trade means Cichy will be able to play in the playoffs this spring. For those in the area who may want to watch Cichy play, the Ice still have one trip to Fargo left. They play at the Urban Plains Center on Feb. 20-21. The Sioux are in Anchorage those nights. -
hell yeah. i noticed they have the same server so thats great!!

i wouldnt even call it stealing anymore really. its not the old days or recent old days where a kid is born and will go to that local school no matter what. kids will go where they can play right away first off and then also if they are good enough where they can develop or think they can develop the best for the next level in the pros. if that means going somewhere else than where expected then so be it. they have to look out for themselves first and their future. the sioux have really expanded where they are recruiting from if you look at hometowns and states but hockey has grown so much the last 10 years out west and south that kids are developing all over. now most all end up in the ushl of course and get noticed that way but many cali and az and other non-hockey states kids are becoming noticed big time.

i love youtube at least he showed some fire and a pulse

oh i know i just watched him tons early friday being my seats were in the gopher defensive zone at the blueline and we were down there 90% of the time that period
-
he logged big time icetime on friday and wasa awful in that first period. 2 misplays at the blueline and just a deer in the headlights. he is a very good player but its also taking him a little lonmger to adjust with his lack of size. the kid will be damn good and looked better and better after that first period friday but hell, the whole gopher team was bad off the start except kangas
-
very true. i didnt know about the dad details but i saw he didnt play many games at UND so figured something happened. the sioux will be just fine when more elite northerners blossom

yeah, cant wait to see who the 3rd is -
agree 100% with that statement bolded and when there are any the sioux will be on them right away like they have been in the past. besides ness dont recall any other elite northerners they plucked as we all know lee isnt a gopher recruit as stated
-
todays press conference is on demand on on demand not sure if you need a premium account to see it or not but they are nice to watch
-
you dont need a 2 headed monster by any means but if it works out that way where you bring a player in and he shows a little something then thats great. there isnt a top goalie prospect that will come to UND with BE here and maybe the only chance of starting until his senior year. they will bring in a solid goalie but there isnt anything wrong with BE being the man as long as he keeps it up. sioux fans in general are just so used to having a DUO system that last year and thisd year are the first 2 seasons in a while where 1 goalie will play pretty much every game. i dont mind it either way and BE has shown he is the real deal.
-
im sure there are but not sure who. they will need to add one as we all know. whoever it is it will be a guy who knows his role and have the ability to push BE to his full potential day in and day out.

just a pic and their team site http://winnipegwild.com/21ODonnell.htm http://winnipegwild.com/Page1.htm -
i would say eids has shown hes a #1 goalie in the wcha and is only getting better. at the time both goalies know that they were a number 1 and the coaching staff had to make a decision on a goalie to go hard after. i wouldnt say we missed ot on lee but say we got BE. st cloud is getting a hell of a goalie and they should be excited as we are to have BE. lee is going where he get the chance to play right away which many kids will do.

per brad Duncan joins 75-75 club Ryan Duncan reached yet another landmark in his decorated career last weekend. He became the 11th player in Sioux history to be in the 75-75 club (75 goals and 75 assists). What makes it extra impressive is that he did it in an era where scoring is at an all-time low. Had he played 20 years ago, you wonder if he would have joined Dixon Ward in the 100-100 club. The 75-75 Club 1. Mark Taylor 97-168 2. Jeff Panzer 80-145 3. Dixon Ward 110-109 4. Lee Davidson 80-122 5. Doug Smail 89-106 6. Phil Sykes 98-90 7. Bob Joyce 101-81 8. Chris Jensen 77-95 9. Cary Eades 85-79 10. Brandon Bochenski 79-75 11. Ryan Duncan 75-76
