agreed but we dont have that this year or had it last year but you can take probably 30 d-1 teams and say if their #1 goalie went down then they would be in trouble. its part of the game. the 2 goalie system didnt win any national titles the last 7 years either. i agree its great to have a solid 2nd goalie and that we will have next year but since grieco made his own bed at und we have had to roll with one #1 last year and this year. go soux, bye weeks blow

then there shouldnt be auto home regionals. hell the only regionals that sell out are the west ones anyhow. the east never fill those arenas up and they usaully only hold 6,000 or so..i like that the #1 overall should get rewarded but i also dont like a host see if they are a 2,3 or 4 seed benefiting because of it. sticky situation

im so sick of that excuse when the sioux lose to a tam that doesnt play runa nd gun im not saying you are bringing it up in that sense at all and this isnt directed at you but dam that gets old....score 3 goals and we are pretty much unbeatable trap or not , we have lost 1 game letting in 3 or more and every one of our losses we have score 2 or less, pretty good equation to me

its just nice being back in the field for the ast time this season. this tea has shown a lot lately. lets hope t continues and we keep climbing that pairwise ladder!!

im gona guess that most of that crap isnt posted by sioux fans. it sucks as you can call yourself whatever you want on his blog and post. i wouldnt even think it was walskis family, no way. glad it doesnt exists here, you are the only one who has brought it here so ill blame you if it does now

it does keep them fresh but also isnt like they play 4-5 games a week like they do in juniors or pro leagues. i think anyone can handle playing 2 games per week at age 18-23. im pretty sure goalies can play every game and be just as succesful as a goalie that plays 1 game per week if you ran a friday/saturday rotation. i dont mind having a goalie though that can give you 8-12 games without dropping off skill wise and not worrying if the team will have to score more goals than normal. phil proved last year a goalie can roll every weekend and be fine overall.. either way its great to get this dell kid. sounds very good. like last year and this year, you can only have a rotation if you have the parts to do it with. but most of the time its not about if he plays up with edmonton is it? its about getting him into their system in the ahl. imo he wont play in the nhl anyhow for 1-2 years out of college anyways. its not like hes a 1st or 2nd round pick or 3rd. hes a 4th rounder that they probably figured would stay 3-4 years at und to develop before hitting up their system. i hope he stays but wouldnt be suprised if he didnt i hate bye weeks

he very well could leave as easily as he could stay and would blame him one bit. it has nothing to do with if hes nhl ready , its abnout what edmonton wants and if they want him in their system sooner than later than great for chris. if he leaves then maybe both mattson and knight come in or maybe just 1 still and we have 2 extra forwards rather than 3

he will spend a year or 2 in the ahl before he gets a crack anyhow. thats the only difference i see. the toews, oshies and kessels are different as they knew when they signed they would never play a game in the ahl. im with you on vv staying for his last season and if he does that would be great for the sioux. if the oilers feel he is 2 years away from the show maybe they would want to get them in their system next year. all depends nhis nhl team and their views on him
