i remember the moring before sioux/gophs final couple years back on st pattys day partying in a underground parking garage filled with bands and beer stands and then having to go to the bathroom so bad but the lines were super long. so i walk up to next level packed with cars, find a nice place and start going and man it felt good but then i look to my right and see this giant man dressed up in a full out leprachan suit and he was doing the same thing as the lines for the bathrooms were sooo long. so he looks up at me and says, whats up dude, sweet jersey......the sioux are pretty good this year and i look back and its Matt Birk , former viking it was hilarious then we walk back down and he bys me and my buddies beers then the prime rib sandwiches up in the club level was like heaven after drinking since 9am to a 7pm game

well the only events run by the NCAA are the regionals so they will control them however they like to and us not having regionals is a direct effect of the logo issue. like it or not it is. we can beat a deadhorse all day with this issue and thats why there is a seperate forum here on ss regarding this issue. i think its deeper than relationships with 2 tribes. no matter what the ncaa will do what they want.

the reason the ralph isnt hosting one of these is the nickname debate or im usre we would have gotten that one they bid and got it, oh well frozen fours are pretty much on neutral sites anyways as no ncaa hockey areana is big enough to host them anymore for the most part i have no issue with regionals being at home arenas.

i cant remember seeing webcasts in the past but i may be wrong it may pop up on http://www.channelsurfing.net/ on gameday or justin.tv but thats a stretch. usually the espn regional games are on the channel surfing site

yes from college to pros it does but everything is the same in college vs pro. i dont care if they are all olympic or nhl, i just would like to see the same size rink. more than likely it would go all nhl i would think if it ever came to it

yes, good point. i think that is a bit different overall. thats pretty much different in every ballpark with outfield dimensions so i would classify that in its own but thats just me

i wish all ncaa hockey teams would play on the same sheet. i prefer nhl ice overall but would just like to see it all the same. other sports dont use different size courts or fields ect......i think it would make the game better overall. im not opposed to olympic sheets but would like to see it all the same

they arent showing on fcs or the other fox alternates offered on digital cable as of now. i am going to do the sports bar either way but remember if you arent living in hockey country (like me) the ncaa bball tourney is in full effect this weekend so find a place that will help you out with a tv to show the games

there always are. many fans go every year no matter what but many sell them for whatever reason as the frozen 4 has a lottery system like season tickets in a way so its always technically sold out

never a problem at any frozen four unless its a pure home ice like in wisconsin or minnesota for example then you will just have to be willing to pay. DC you wont have any problem

hopefully there wont ever be a new nickname, there isnt a need for one at all. first off they all sound like crap when trying to think of one as im sure most would agree and second its just not needed imo. we will lose the sioux nickname at some point but just roll with THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH DAKOTA as my good buddy jason suggested when i was back in grand forks for the gopher series. the more i thought about it the more i agreed. fans will always use the word sioux and sport the jerseys if they choose to and the new jerseys can simply say UND or NORTH DAKOTA for example. dont change to another nickname because the ncaa wants us to. if we have to drop it then so be it as it just seems like a matter of time but stick with THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH DAKOTA and UND and we will forever refer to the university how we choose to
