they can make the tourney either way if they get some breaks, they actually may be better off losing tonight than winning then losing 2 but both ways its gona be close for them. if hes sick and cant perform why wouldnt you make the change?? its a no brainer imo
-
was posted here as well http://forum.siouxsports.com/index.php?showtopic=12280 imo, we dont deserve to have any hobey top 10 guys. its colin wilsons award to lose in my eyes. i hope lamoureux makes the hobey hatrick as well as i said in the other thread stoa deserved to be a top 10 guy but wouldnt have won it anyhow, oh well

KANGAS missed a day of practice because of the flu. radio announcers saying his body language isnt good at all. theres a excuse for woog at least if they lose

RADIO FEED GAMETRACKER
-
im searching for a umd feed but no luck so far. i think the gopher bball is on the gopher feed as of now. wcha.com may have a link for audio as it said in their press release they would be broadcasting the fonal 5 on radio
-
GOPHER AUDIO LINK - it may be a pay link or just register for it, not sure
-
as it says in the gamethread link there is NO webcast there is always radio feeds, just search and find them
-
you are worng on your duncan stats. i dont think he was a top 10 hobey guy, he had 37 points. i mean we all know how valuable he is to the sioux but he isnt a top hobey contender this season. maybe duncan in top 10 but thats a stretch to me. stoa i would say for sure as he is all the gophers have and he is a a big reason that top line clicks colin wilson will win this and deserving and i agree Palushaj should be on the list. ill pull for lamoureux all the way hope he gets in the hobey hattrick for frozen 4 fridays ceremonies
-
stoa is the gophers. without him they are easily a bottom 5 team this year which they almost ended up anyhow. he wouldnt have won it but deserved a top 10
-
thats why he wasnt DPY

yes he is and i think more than likely he will be gone as we have disucced on this board before. chay is still a risk as hes on top of his game and will get some offers from ahl/nhl. i say chay stays and vv leaves. go sioux!!!!!!!!!!! -
i hear you but we all know it doesnt work like that. they are gona spread the awards out making sense or not im happy with the awards and how they were displaced. i dont agree with mcbain winning poy but oh well. the others look dead on. the roy was a 3 way battle and i would have agreed with any of the 3 winning it......... go sioux back to your mcbain question because he isnt as good on the defensive end i guess but looked at more valuable overall from coaches, players, sid's and media members

yeah, i wouldnt put to much stock into that and i did pick up on that when i watched it. im guessing he will be back but you never know what can pop up after the season ends. you just never know -
if they lose that would be a good one for friday, if not then it wouldnt go dogz

not true as if the gophers are a 4 seed and we are a 1 seed they will avoid a wcha match up first round. also they can be placed there as a 2 seed as well with michigan being a 1 seed, gophs a 4 seed then another team as a 3 seed so there are possibilities to end up there for sure also DU would probably have to lose both games if we won the final 5 and got a 1 seed which is possible with their injury situation. the only way the sioux get placed in the west regional as a 1 seed is if the gophs dont make the ncaa tourney because if they won the final 5 and move up to a 3 seed and we stay as a 2 then that would be another wcha match up the ncaa would avoid for a 1st round matchup

Other big awards Thursday went to Wisconsin defenseman Jamie McBain as the player of the year; Denver defenseman J.P. Genoway made the all-league first team, along with McBain at defense; Ryan Stoa of Minnesota, Chad Rau of Colorado College and Ryan Lasch of St. Cloud State at forward; and Alex Stalock of Minnesota-Duluth at goalie. UND's Ryan Duncan is on the second all-league team and Sioux goalie Brad Eidsness is on the third team. duncs has been in and out of INCH hobey tracker so hes been getting props but lets remeber hes turned it on more lately. he didnt have great numbers at all to begin with like the entire team my guess will be genoway for defensive player of the year and hak coach of the year genoway 1st team and duncan 2nd team with eidsness as well, gregoire/eidsness on all rookie team schroeder/eidsness/wiercioch could all share ROY but i say schroeder wins it
-
you are right, the gophers are harmless noooooooooooooo, as long as we dont get BC in the frozen 4 we are fine, regionals? no problem
-
who knows. im gona guess the late game as the 1 seed usually plays during the day. just to early to know any of this. we will know sunday morning. not that far away
