Ok…time for true confession absolutely NOT me…but my sister and her boyfriend streaked from the front door bar thru the back door of the eating area about March 1974. I was in the get away car with my boyfriend who drove….
The year sounds right, maybe earlier. Pretty popular across the country one year.
In January (snow on ground) the Sunday night before new semester classes started, we had a streak down Greek Row, got the radio station in on this. Midnight meet at U Park and head west or even join in as we pass by, jackrabbit start.
Well as the news spread, mostly fans showed up (many in parking lot S of U Avenue with members out in front of Greek Houses). We took off and the cops sirens went on, nobody joined us but the crowd cheered. We had cars to pick us up on side street N of U Avenue.- 1

I can’t imagine we are held out unless we get our asses absolutely whooped on Saturday.
We have not done well in the polls, so a Hawk loss could give some committee participants a reason for a snub - making it more challenging.

That is exactly what I thought. They left on Wed. To beat the storm.
Yes, UND was closed down Wednesday evening.
Announced earlier. -

This is a very good take. Perhaps this program has become a victim of its own sense of entitlement.
Who else has ‘the Palace on the Prairie’, new uniforms all the time, a Through These Doors media show, etc.
Maybe our mentality resembles the Gophers more than we like to admit.Do we still expect teams to show up at the Ralph, be in awe of the place, our culture and history, and roll over and die? Yea maybe.
The sky isn’t falling. We’re coming off 3 straight league titles. That said, if this team doesn’t get its act together, we’ll also have missed the playoffs 3 times in the past 6 seasons.
We pride ourselves on a lunchpail work mentality, yet Berry teams have been wildly inconsistent in playing as such.
i dunno.I think we may be getting close to a Bingo.

agree 100%.. 9500 was a very generous number. Im going to blame it on the weather shutting down the western half of the state, but I was disappointed by the showing. Very few students.. lots of empty season ticket holder seats and very empty otherwise as well. I truly expected more on such a meaningful game.. senior day.. veterans weekend.. playing a South Dakota team(seemed like there was about zero USD fans) and basically the playoffs.
I've seen big improvement in student section attendance this year, except this game.
Posted in attendance thread, I'll leave this here:
Storm day Thursday
Holiday Friday
Left campus before game day.Poor showing Saturday

Bison AD IS ON COMMITTEE, DOES THAT HELP OR HURT
That could go either way, depends on what's up.
I wouldn't trust him around UND stuff. Matt not even too likeable around their FB fans.
UND is fairly new kid on the block and not going to get anything easy from that committee.
UNI ring a bell, completely opposite.
Coaches Poll should give you some insight also.
We need to earn some respect by consistently winning.
A Saturday W would make a mark with that committee.- 4

Huge road win.
What a game to watch!I'm a believer again,
till that day in the playoffs. -
Another exceptional catch by Jeffersen

What a game so far.
That last two minutes is all highlights.

I agree but some of our group walked back to the Hilton Garden Inn during second half sometime. I know, I know, but they were up in GF for other reasons and decided to watch part of the game.
They spent 30 minutes waiting for the train tracks to clear so they could cross.
You kind of "get hung out to dry" when the train surprises you.
Sometimes they're just sitting there and then all of a sudden move. -

........................If UND can win more and convince regional fair weather fans to buy in (e.g., beat NDSU), that will help attendance - no doubt.
This is a huge part of the equation to regularly filling the Alerus,
as of now it's only when Bison are in town.- 1

Did some change their minds or is this how they do this nowadays if they stick around another year?

Denver clearly looked as a better team, so have some others so far this season.
We have also looked worse than we were expected to be.
We may be able to come out of this funk (for lack of a better description)?
It will be a battle to get competitive, and more so to win enough to make the playoffs.
Wishing the team the best. -
There's something more than meets the eye happening here.
Don't know what that is. These players aren't playing 100%.- 4

I’m ok with NDSU not thinking we are their rival, but there’s no doubt they are UND’s rival. They are the model we are trying to follow and are the chief thing standing in our way.
Be interesting to see how the traffic increases in the following week?

Problem for us is if we lose, we're potentially tied with others who are currently below us.
If we win we will be a tie breaker ahead of the Bison in the conference, but likely not to the pollsters.
They love SU more than UNI and we're on the other end of that spectrum.
