Agree. New name still makes me want to puke. I guess I'll wear my Fighting Sioux stuff; it will make me feel better.

My reaction would have been different if he weren't wearing a bison hat and trying to get a reaction from UND fans. I still hate the new nickname and expressed my opinion.

A guy wearing a bison cap behind me at the UNI vs UND men's basketball game yelled "go hawks" after the national anthem. I turned around, showed him my Ralph logo hat and said "does that look like a hawk to you"?

I'm in the club that will continue to support UND, hates the new nickname and will continue to wear my Fighting Sioux stuff to UND games.

And we were expecting something better from the NCAA? Need to have 2 more wins next year to keep us off the bubble.

Let me say this, our fan base deserves something better than just some ordinary bird logo.

Yes, I agree. Let's salvage something out of this whole fiasco and go aircraft based logo (connection to our local AF Bases, aviation at UND, tribute to our armed forces, etc) rather than be another bird logo like everyone else.

Darn, thought you would prefer an armed aircraft (fighter or helicopter) to blow up the dreaded bison into hamburger.

FH can't do much to a bison unless it's some kind of aircraft. Hawks eat rodents so we are OK there.

I've had11 hours to digest this new name. Sorry, can't get excited about FH. Being unique was the best thing about FS. Now we are fighting 39th version of hawks.

This site has been very pro RR so the venting is understandable IMHO!

Both are brutal, the leak and the final result. Can't help but be disappointed.

Calling for an upset 50.5% to 49.5% RR. Getting my wife, brother and S-I-L to switch from FH to RR was huge!

My observation was his CBS line logged a lot of minutes in the 3rd with the game on the line.
