  1. I'm just curious if we just pull up our shirt and cover our nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing it would "essentially be the same" as wearing a mask? Minus of course people touching their face all day. Which I know masks are a good deterrent for.
  2. Not sure what that would prove. We know it spreads on surfaces with no one around.
  3. I'm curious what the percentages would be for without masks if they werent coughing or sneezing. Essentially the same?
  4. Some large flakes in GF right now.
  5. I did some quick sneeze research lol. Comes from both with most being from the mouth. But people can sneeze different ways. So a non 95 mask doesnt make any difference if it isn't covering the nose unless you sneeze (or cough)? If you feel a sneeze come on just pull it up over the nose.
  6. Is it not the mouth?
  7. Are (non n95) masks mainly just a safety device for when the wearer coughs or sneezes? If so, they dont really need to cover their nose?
  8. U.S. Field Hospitals Stand Down, Most Without Treating Any COVID-19 Patients
  9. Watched a few minutes of the video. Got bored. Looked like a big nothingburger.
  10. Its closing in. I know two people with the covid.
  11. California beaches are closed right now by the governor's orders. Does he have blood on his hands? Why do these governors continue to ignore science? Is Newsome a science denier? People with low vitamin D levels more likely to die from coronavirus, study finds
  12. Remdesivir study in China while trying to control their Covid19 outbreak. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7190303/
  13. I'm sure the company and CEO are happy to finally have a use for the failed drug.
  14. Another giddy guy. He even wrote "reducing death" in that tweet. But then the Washington Post had an article yesterday: Government researchers changed metric to measure coronavirus drug remdesivir during clinical trial So it's Zicam for coronavirus?
  15. According to the Herald. Burgums new rules: "standing in bars is prohibited."
  16. At this point it's just become "I dont want to see pictures of people enjoying themselves."
  17. Hydroxychloroquine Has about 90 Percent Chance of Helping COVID-19 Patients, States Association of American Physicians and Surgeons Very odd watching the news today and the stark contrast between other drugs and remdesivir. Fauci seemed giddy. Didn't even use his favorite phrase "anecdotal evidence." Went as far as to state: "proves a drug can block the virus." Looks like that evidence was just slightly better than a placebo. And seems mainly just to help you recover faster not necessarily help mortality.
  18. Sounds like some loopholes that could easily be exploited. Connect them via skywalk? Separate floors?
  19. Phil Jackson is a lot more famous than he is wealthy. The opposite of most "big donors."
  20. Probably a case of some people dont give away large sums of money to certain organizations some people wish they would. It happens. Dont think Phil harbors any ill will toward UND. Otherwise probably wouldn't have come back and accepted the award.
  21. The thing is unless the burbs and St Paul follow suit it just makes the other ones still open more crowded. Just like stores "limiting hours." Minneapolis has already said their beaches and pools will be closed all summer.
  22. Guessing burgum will allow people to get haircuts again. Probably a step by step process. Maybe then restaurants with every other table available. And in 4 years crowded bars.
  23. Curious if the flu also disproportionately effects NYC too?
