I had to laugh at the second comment. There’s one team on campus living a delusion. They also happen to be the most underperforming program in the entire athletic department at the moment.

Which one was the second comment? Twitter is in some sort of a random order for me. First comment is 12h ago, next is 19, 3rd is 20, etc.

Brady Berry's to do list in the next couple weeks.

    1. Put on a brave face on and go to the NCHC Frozen Faceoff this next weekend and watch 4 other teams.

    2. Conduct end-of-season interviews with players and make hard decisions on what the 2019-20 roster will look like. Will some current guys need to find other places to play.

    3. Conduct end-of season evaluations with his coaching staff. What went right? What went wrong? What improvements and changes are needed? Not just with the power play. The coaches recruit the players, but they also coach them. Some players are more ready to adjust to the college game than others.  And if some are not developing or playing to their potential within the systems, then that falls back on coaching. What can they do to get the most out of those players. They need to "own up" to some of the shortcomings of the on-ice product.

    4. Meet with the AD and convince him that the ship will get righted next year. In addition to the tradition and national following from alumni this program gets, hockey is an economic driver for the athletic budget. Not to mention the community.

    Anything else?

Wear out Highway 2 going to watch Donte Lawson end the NAHL season in Cloquet.

He has that one intangible you can’t coach... heart.

    The athletic department budget will.

Their annual take over the next five years would barely be enough to pay for the costs for a commute for a University President’s chief of staff.

HAve relatives that have switched to Fargo from Grand Forks because of taxes.  It’s just a few more miles and they have other needs that can be met there.  It’s not $2 sodas they are buying either.  Nothing like shrinking your market.

So they are voluntarily driving further to pay 7.50% sales tax in Fargo instead of 7.25% in Grand Forks?

Did Fargo ever sunset the sales tax that built the FargoDome? If not, hope the relatives are happy to be paying for that instead of for treated water in Grand Forks. I know it’s all relative, but what is more important in the big picture?

Can't say for sure.  I was holding on too tight before- hence the need for my sabbatical.

I don’t have an issue with football players going out and having a good time; I only posted about why the quiet out of the ‘spring ball’ because I knew of an incident per my niece. Supposedly the whole athletics department knows about what happened-apparently in addition to football players being arrested there were some soccer players. Again I don’t know if this affected information about spring ball or not.

Again, the lack of anything regarding spring football practice towards the end of last week just might have been because the last scheduled day was the 6th (Wednesday) and the next one is Wednesday the 20th. Your trolling game just may be lacking as well.

It would be interesting to see the semester GPA's of each sport and the graduation rates of  each after 6 years......I know the BIG conference does this....maybe a conference requirement.....don't know...

I,would guess at UND the hockey  grad rates, at least......would be the least....outside of the few local kids on the team....most aren't here  for the education....exceptions of course"...you can find  exceptions in every measure....

Pretty blanket statement there. The NCAA literally has requirements that must be met for this. Post-season bans are one form of punishment if an institution fails to meet the NCAA standards.

The crap that people throw against the wall sometimes...:silly:

To date, he has not broken any forum rules.

So, combine the account with the previously registered JBB from that IP address then. Misrepresentation of one’s allegiance in order to disparage another school, which seems to be the focal point of each of his posts, sure seems to bend those rules. Hopefully we don’t get some appraisal advice within these posts going forward. That’d be like getting advice on communicating with elected officials from “firedennyguy”.

Ya, Max and Gabe went to UND's Junior Day.  I know Max has been talking to the Jacks and will attend a Jr. day, there, too.  I know Isiah had a conflict with wrestling, did not attend the UND Jr day, but he wants to play college FB over wresting.  I had all these guys up last year to the UND spring game, along with Reed.  Reed is coming off a blown knee in the Wilmar game, he's a pretty good player, too.  I think Reed and Gabe are tweeners on their size/ability mix at FCS.  I think Max has the most potential but will be limited by the coaching staff (hand the ball off 49 of 50 plays in a game last year) and Isiah needs to shave some time off his 40, but he's a tough runner!!

Was that against PR? Need to get us off your schedule for now and get the team prepared for the playoffs would help. Last year Isaiah touched the ball four times and three td’s, then to the sidelines. That’s just one example. Things will turn around here, but it’s going to be a process.

  11. Still wish they would have taken a chance on Jenson Beachy from Perham. Maybe a PWO was offered? Not to disrespect MSU-Moorhead, he has the potential to be better than that. Or maybe MSUM will let him try hoops as well...

Did the QB from Willmar end up signing somewhere today?
