How in the hell do we get stuck with Buccigross and Melrose for the Frozen 4? I mean these guys are the bottom of the barrel; they know nothing about college hockey. Clay Matvick, Gary Thorne, Pee Wee Herman or anybody else would absolutely crush these idiots in calling a game. And if I hear "saucy mitts" or "Jack Eichel's nutsack" one more time, I'm likely going to explode. Ugh!
This! Or how about "[inaudible] THIN MINTS [inaudible]". I literally can't understand what he says.

Contact to the head?
Wish our game with Denver was tomorrow. That's a long wait.

I think Ferris wins this game.
Was thinking the same, but changed my mind.
Not calling that trip on Denver in the slot with 10:45 left will be a turning point in the game FSU won't be happy with. Things really went to crap since then.

Someone ( ) put a "1" instead of a "0" on their W4 when taking a new job in 2005, so a substantial check needs to be written to Uncle Sam by April 16th.
Don't think there's enough sweet talking that can get me to TB.

Seeler signs with Minnesota.
So the Wild pluck a kid away from the Gophers... a kid they could easily monitor daily if they wanted to by driving a half hour at most. Hmmmm... Or will he be in the NHL next year?

When is the last time a player or school from ND was mentioned on National TV every day for 3 month straight? You will hear Carson Wentz and North Dakota State talked about on ESPN and the NFL Network, among others, every day from now until the draft. Actually from the combine until the draft. Like it or not, this is the biggest nationally covered sports story in recent history. The only other one that would be close is Maris's 61 in 61.
Every day on ESPN with UND's logo being shown.
So, it is bigger than Maris?
Wentz has not played a single down in the NFL. Pretty hard to compare a story on his professional career to those others that excelled. Not saying he won't be successful, but maybe the hype machine needs to come back to reality for a bit.

Any injuries? I thought I saw someone crouched over coming off the ice
Probably #8. He was gassed at the end.

Roger?
I heard on WDAY that Wentz had the best pro day in their history. Their meaning NFL. This kid is really getting propped up. I hope he's surrounding himself with people that he can trust that will help to keep him grounded. He's certainly likeable and extremely talented, but it seems to be overdone. Remember that these pundits such as Kiper know so much about Wentz that they didn't know he missed 5(?) games this season.

Juniors wouldn't care because Notre Dame still has a lame-duck year to play in Hockey East.
Right. But the prestige it will bring starts immediately, eh?

Surprised that these guys from B1G schools would leave early after the announcement of the new member.

He played defense, but really was fearless to jump into the play. Some might say daringly. A real daredevil.

Clymer was too close to tears.

Since I am a bad fan, I stayed home and ran a food drive today. Even though the outcomes of the games didn't go UND's way, hope those of you that went down were able to still have a good time. It's always fun walking around downtown MSP and seeing all the green and white!
Listened on the radio. Tim and Olie, as well as St. Clair and even Coach Berry, all said after the game that there was lots of energy and that both teams were playing hard. 8 or 9 pipes between the teams. Radio guys said today's game was very entertaining.
No mention of guys that were out of lineup being hurt, except for Ladue. Coach Berry said after this game they will have some hard decisions to make on who is in the lineup next week.
PP will be worked on every day in practice next week.
I think if scsu wins tonight, UND goes to Cincinatti.
Go Sioux!

He has long been one of the favorite refs of players. When relatively fit people get injured from falling, I always wonder if the fall was completely accidental, or if something happened medically (vertigo, MI, stroke, seizure, etc.) to cause the fall in the first place. Hopefully Butch has a quick recovery.
Read that he caught an edge, then hit his head on the ice. Was in warm ups, so he didn't have helmet on.
