    If a MVFC invitation were part of the deal, UND would certainly have to take a serious look at it. There would be pros and cons to each option.

    But I've seen no indication from any credible source that the MVFC is even remotely on the table for UND. Until I see credible evidence to suggest it's a real possibility, there is no decision to make and UND should have zero interest in leaving the Big Sky.

    The all-purpose excuse in Grand Forks for bad attendance at sporting events.

    It can only be used one weekend per year, and this was it.

    Heck, NDSU didn't sell out Fargodome this weekend (18076 and they had over 19000 at their homecoming).

    Deer opener is a defacto holiday weekend in this region. Schools would be smart to schedule road games deer opener weekend.

    UND won Saturday despite their coaching.

    The blocked FG going the other way because UND didn't play to the whistle shows me a team that has not been coached up.

    UND won, because Northern Colorado gave the game away with a late fumble.

    I've emailed Mr. Faison.

    I did after the original debacle: Sioux Falls.

    I did after this year's Montana debacle. (I said fire and use the bye week to bring in an interim head coach.)

    Heck, I've said it to Tim O'Keefe in person!

    I'm not sure what else to say.

    Not like Blais needs this info but ...

    - If UND is at even strength they will try to enter the zone with a two-man game on the right wing between the dot and the boards.

    - If UND is up a man they will try to enter the zone between dead center and the left wing dot, and expect that the LD will be bringing it up the middle.

    Additional note: if it's 4x4 play UND will play like they are down a man.

    After UND loses to UNC at the Alerus this coming Saturday, the announcement has to be made.

    Why?

    UND has a bye week the last week of the regular season. That's a two week search head start on everyone else.

    After he loses badly at Northern Arizona (they'll take note that UND was in the game at PSU), and then loses at home to UNC (and you heard it here first), ... it'll be done.
